Trying to get people to fill out for disability! Wtf we haven't inquire let alone thought about applying! At it sounds almost automated.

I had no idea this things happen it is the first time I get this type of calls.   I felll for it iand they took absolutely all my information what can I do.??!!!  Please help!!

What did they say that convinced you to give them all your information?

Please provide a bit more detail about your call and describe what happened and someone might be able to point you in the right direction, otherwise one can only speculate your situation and give generic advice.

What was the call about and what info did you provide?  If this is about filing a disability claim, there are many ways these scams work, depending on what info you gave up.  ID theft is probably the biggest concern.

If the scammers are only interested in filing fake claims for you, there are too many variables for me to give you any advice here.  You age and employment status, for example, figure into how the scams proceed.  If you are on medicare or medicaid or other health insurance changes how a scam runs.

You will need to think through what it is you told them and the questions they asked that might tip you off to what they are up to.  You will want to talk this over with family and friends so you have a plan to protect yourself and your finances.

These people call me everyday sometimes more then once from this number and it got blocked as well as the other number they will call you from which is 202-594-3353 and of course 302-683-8367. Don't know how but these people are connected!

The ID came up as David Boyer. I do not know this person. They have called twice in a half hour so I checked here. Will not answer now. Did not leave a mess.

Obvious scam, phishing for personal info.

Guy introduced himself as "Joe" claimed to be from "National Disabiity Insurance" and said "you or someone in your household has asked for information on disability insurance." When I asked why they've called from several different numbers he would not answer. Whan I asked for his manager's name claimed he could not provide this due to privacy issuse (how ironic is that?!). When I asked be connected with a supervisor he stuck with his script. I cut him off and said I wanted to not be called anymore he fell silent for about a minute and then hung up. Obvious scam.

They are trying to get you to say the word 'yes' so they can scam you later...!

I get multiple different calls daily from numbers I have labeled as Disability Scam 1 through Dusability Scam 7.  Apparently, some guy named Joe according to other posts on this site.  Here's some free advice for you Joe: don't waste your time calling me anymore.  I didn't request information on disability and I will never answer the phone, ever.  I didn't answer for the "IRS" when they left messages that they would have me arresred and I won't answer for you.  Plus this is a state issued phone.

Same "disability insurance" info as listed by others. Caller ID says David Boyer. The "don't call" list has certainly become useless. I'm so tired of all these calls.
Went to the .gov website for the first time today to be sure my numbers are on the no-call list (they are) within 15 minutes of me being on that site I received three new robo calls (including this one) I don't believe in coincidence so, this truly concerns me.
I've never had this number of calls in this time frame before. Crap!!!

They just callled me, asked me if I was between the ages of 50 to 65, (I think he said). Neither age am I. I tole him no.  he didn't give a name, nor did he say my name. Then he just hung up. I guess they are looking for older people.

This is a scam. Trying to get your info for filing disability.

This was a missed call on my land line.  For the past week since Aug 1 I have been getting these robo calls (the guy sounds real but I'm sure it's a recording; he says exactly the same thing the same way every time and there's no interrupting him) on my land line for the Social Security disability benefits scam 2-3 times a day.  The other calls came in under "Unknown Name".  Today is the first time it said "David Boyer" on my caller ID.  I am guessing this number like all the others is spoofed.  Obviously these scammers are disregarding the "Do Not Call" list and also auto dialing since I have an unlisted number big help that is with these illegal calls.

Said someone in my household enquired about SSDI. I'm already on SIS and told him so. He said his name was Joe. Talked fast but didnt ask for any information.

Bad English ...... Scam. Call was forward from India .

Ignored, voice mail was a hang up - blocking!
