Got a call from a local number. The voice mail said there was fraudulent activity on my social security number, and I need to call the above number or legal proceedings will happen.

call came in from a local number but the v/m left this number requesting a call back "or legal proceedings" will start.  first part of v/m was cut off

Call came from a local number.  Caller stated my ss# has been used along the southern border of US (Texas).  Car was rented in my name.  Blood and cocaine found in the car.  Bank accounts opened in my name.  Caller's name was Roselin Ball.  She stated here ID# was SSM 7400, and my case number was DCDC7848

A voicemail was left saying I needed to contact “them”before they take legal action regarding something to do with my ss#

Same as Betty above,  same message.   Call us about Fraudulent activities or  action will proceed against you.   Must be spam if this many people received it.

No doubt a scam, this is not the first call like this but first time with a call back number. Threatening legal action.

Got a call from 240-604-8575 but the voicemail left 302-865-9517 to call back to. VM stated something about calling 302-865-9517 before legal proceedings began. I'm sure it's spam.

Same as everyone else. Stating to contact them at this number even though the call came thru a local cell phone or legal action will be taken. SCAM! Debating if I shld even talk to these people to give them a piece of my mind and ask how do they live with themselves scamming people for their money by scaring them while trying to lend credence to their story saying their name is Bob or Sam and lives in Chicago with a heavy Indian accent. While these scamming pos probably live in a third world hell hole thinking all Americans have money and are stupid
