Called me twice yesterday afternoon (1:35 PM and 4:00 PM) but did not leave a message when I let it go to voicemail.

called 2 from 303.209.2049.  Left VM,  "This is a message from Community Capital Bank.  Please make it a priority to return this call today regarding a matter of personal importance at 800-695-2780 ..."

Community Capital Bank failed in 2011 and was closed by the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was named Receiver.

I believe it is comenity bank and they are very much still open.

Yes that is what it is and they issue branded credit cards.

It is definitely Comenity... and yes, they are alive and well!

Probably calling to collect all of the BonTon credit debt...

I have a New York & Company credit card through them. So if you’re getting a call from them it could be because you have some type of charge/credit card through Comenity. I know Victoria Secret charge card is through them also and many others

This is a SCAM CALL - No doubt - Comenity Bank Supposedly, whoever they are, and I am going by what I have read on the internet not from my personal knowledge.

I never answer an unknown number because of all the scammers and telemarketers calling.  I don’t know if a message was left, since I do not have voice mail set-up. Being on the "Do Not Call List" is a joke.  I hope that all scammers and telemarketers go to hell - today would be just fine.

Since the DNC registry and the two enabling laws that made it possible only cover sales calls, then in this case, you perception of it is the joke.  It was very clearly explained when you signed up, you know the part you never took the time to read, that only sales calls are covered.  Not debt collection calls.  Reading=Knowledge, you should try it sometime.

It probably is Comenity Bank. I've been getting calls from the from MANY different numbers. Many, like this one, never left a message or anything. Others indicate which Comenity store credit card they are from in their automated message they leave.

They call between 8 to 15 times a day never leave a message and hang up as soon as I answer
