Not sure that this is an actual scammer, per se, but it is at least close.  I got a live call from this number (i.e, not a recording) asking for 'Amy'.  That is already a red flag for me since I've received other scam calls and even texts to my number addressed to 'Amy'. When I said 'wrong number', this person launched into fundraising appeal about some type of support for veterans.  Even if legal, this are almost always unethical and misleading organizations that give only a tiny fraction (if any) of their fundraising dollars to the intended recipients (e.g, injured veterans).  Interesting also that the caller did not even mention the name of the supposed non-profit organization.  Walk away from this one!!

Similar as above, collecting for returning veterans, but asked for the wrong name. I asked for info to have the boss call back, he replied 'alright well you have a good day'

Spam call asking for donations for police. Asked for Ted.

Would not answer when I asked who was calling.
