Said they were from 911

I also received a call from this number, and they claimed to be 911.  On the reverse lookup though it appears to be a residential number.

I recieved a call on my cell phone - a female caller, who never identified herself aside from "Thornton 911 Dispatch," asked if I lived at a particular address that was very close to my address. I advised her that I was at work, and gave her that address. She asked if I owned a german shepherd that was currently in the back yard. I told her I did not, she apologized for the inconvenience & the call was ended.

When I looked up the number, there was no information but that the number was unpublished, a land line registered beneath Qwest. I am going to call the thornton non emergency number to make certain they are aware.

I don't feel good about this one at all, especially because my cell phone number is not tied to my home in any way.

I confirmed that this number is associated with AdCom (Adams County Communications), the 911 communications center.

These calls are legitimate. In my case, it was probably just a misdial. Or possibly, my cell number was listed to our previous address (which was also very similar to our current address) and the new tenant has a German Shepherd??

This is a prank call. Most likley from a kid from Silver Hills Jr. high. As theye are calling my phone that is a 714 area code but i live in co.

From this site, it is a fax from Adams CO 911. Expect a miss dial. I got the call at 9:36 at night.

That is the number for adams county sheriff or police or something.  I know because I had to have their assistance and that is the number they called me back on.  Super sweet! They helped me in a very dangerous situation.  

I received a call from this number very shortly after my last txt from a 911 operator. Upon answering, it immediately hung up. Les than two minutes later, I received two automated txts saying the dialogue was closed and the txt session was ended.

Figured out through searching the web that it is Fax for Adcom911.
