I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Same thing happened with me. They have called 3 times so far in two days and have left no message.

I've received several calls that I've picked up on with this same phone number.  Each time I have requested that they take my name off of the list, because I am on the NO CALL list.  They continue to call!  How can I stop the calls?

Wow, this same number has been calling me non-stop (5 times yesterday!) and won't leave a message. So annoying!

No one here mentioned anything about collections. What makes you think it's a collection call?  (By the way, it's nice to see that you posted at least one message that wasn't profane and removed by the site administrator.)

this is a pain. theyve called from teh same area code and prefix but with different extensions. its so annoying

I just called them back finally, its world financial bank, been getting calls from them also with no answer, and have no relation to them or collections

call multiple times a day. wont give any information. very annoying

They call every hour, every day.

I've bought a really..loud.. whistle and every time these harassing [***] call I blow the whistle into the handset.  It is WFNNB, and I am 10 days late on a $15 payment for an Eddie Bauer card.    I'm late, because I changed jobs and I need to wait until the pay cycle at my new employer catches up with me and I get paid.   I've told these worthless, harassing [***] this.. and that I WILL pay when I get paid on the 21st.  I just can't pay the bill until my new job, which I took because it meant a higher salary...  pays me.   Yet the calls continue.  Every hour.. they call twice, ten minutes apart then another hour passes and we repeat.

They are nothing but harassing [***].   A $15 payment that is 10 days late is NOT something worth this kind of treatment.  I'm holding the payment now honestly just out of spite.   Once I get paid, I'm going to pay the balance in full then cancel the card and I won't do business with Eddie Bauer any longer either.

Screw them both.

ok i have looked up several numbers on here that have been harrasing me.  i find the same thing for every one.  NOBODY EVER answers their phone to find out what it is.  Are we so scared to answer the phone?  but here i am and that makes me guilty as well.  i have answered a few times and it is a legitamit collection attempt.  if you owe nobody money then someone used your number and maybe your name on an account.  they are very annoying.  imagine the lobor dollars being spent on these people just to collect a small amount from us. i have an idea tho.  here it is:
   
    Call a number that has been disconnected record the voice telling that it is diconnected.  use that recording for your voicemail message.  I do not know if this will work but its worth a shot.  the only other idea i have has already been said.  " pay your bills"  but hey, stuff happens.  people get behind.

It is probably The Limited or Victoria Secret, that is who is calling me

Oh and they can be very rude and harrassing. I had never been late in years on my card and I was 10-14 days late and the calls started!

Picked up and got silence at the other end. Finally figured out that it was about an Express credit card. I forgot that I had a balance and they sent me no notice that I was past due on a payment. I am paying the balance and cancelling the card.

calling up to 5 times a day everyday from this number as well as another number.  when i answer there is no one there.  they never leave messages!

Says to wait on line, not a sales call????
