Victims aren't necessarily stupid. My parents are elderly, and they sometimes receive phone calls / mailings that can sound and look quite legitimate. Typically they'll ask me or one of my siblings about it. They knew it was a scam but just wanted to make sure.

These people call my cell phone a minimum of five times each day, all hours of the day and night, including weekends and holidays. I have an outstanding balance with Gamestop and they're through Comenity Bank. My Husband was laid off of work and we got behind. We're still paying the minimum amount due and when we're able, we pay more,  but we do make steady, regular payments. I guess the minimum amount due isn't good enough for them. Very rude. Very relentless.

All the mall stores you go to gas stations you fuel up at Lowes, Home Depot etc etc. and use those credit cards from are issued by Comenity Bank behalf of those mall stores, gas stations, Home improvement etc etc etc, the list is outstanding. They have call centers in Columbus, OH, Denver, CO, TX and on the West Coast. If a person has crappy credit you can get a store card at any mall store like me and get behind and they will CALL you non stop I paid it off and will never ever get a card issued from them or any credit card. They use skip tracing, call any address you have lived in the past any other phone numbers. Just pay it off tell them to go to HELL, and cease and desist, if they continue to call.

Received calls early on Sunday morning and also on Monday, even before we were awake.  Disregarded one and then answered others and there was no one on the line.  I do not have any late payments or credit cards thru Lane Bryant or Victorias Secret like others reported the callers said they had.

Comenity Bank with another new number calling non-stop.  They call from so many different numbers starting at 8am and go until 9pm.

Called asked for someone that doesn’t live here. No I don’t know a number for them and don’t call again. Couple of minutes later they call again!
Seems they are a scammer that have bought debts and will do anything to get money.
