Yesterday, I received similar call. I don't answer any number I don't recognize, so the call went to voice mail. When I checked, it was a woman's voice I heard. Some of the message was cut off. It was something about my getting arrested and to call the phone # before . . . (couldn't understand the rest). I knew from previous calls, that it's just same old scam that seems to be going around. I don't call back on these.

just got the same call. I blocked my number. He asked for my number so I gave him a false one. He said ok, are you so and so. I said yes. He said I owed money. I just laughed at him for like 30 secs. He finally hung up. Awful, cause so many believe this.

We just got a call and they left a message and my husband said we need to call. I said you're crazy it's a scam. Don't fall for stuff like that.

How do you block these numbers

I'm getting the same calls from this number and also 949 267 3680. This is ridiculous.

I have received 3 calls from this number & each one seems threatening from the IRA taxes.

wow I almost fell for it as they sounded serious. I called my wife and she knows someone who got a call from the same number and she forward this page to me . they need to get this sobs

This just happened to me. Said I was going to be arrested. Horrible scaring people like that....same phone number! Luckily I started to doubt it when I heard whistling in the background! Called the REAL IRS to report it!

Just got the same call, told me I owe back taxes and said I need to go to CVS and buy a tax pay voucher(iTunes gift card). Indian accent, said if I hung up that legal proceedings would be started and I would be arrested. Told me not to tell anyone about it and they had our phones tapped. I told them I had not received anything in the mail, they said the IRS could not mail anything to our physical address. I pray these people are caught. Please do not give them money!

I thought it is illegal to make harassing calls.  I've gotten many telling me I have to call about "my case which is moving forward", but this is the 1st time for the "arrest" threat.  It's upsetting for those of us who know what's going on - I can't imagine how frightened those who are vulnerable must be.  Does the phone co care?  Is there any entity to report this number to??

said they were calling to  get money for taxes owed and if i did not get it setteled with them i would be arrested. i called the att. general office and gave them this number

I have been waiting for my arrest for about 2 and a half months now.

Son's in-laws got a call from these turds, I helped them block it.  Wish these scammers would die in a fire, slowly and painfully.
