Call me many time during this day

Keep getting calls from this number (as well as others) which comes up at Mann Bracken something. Turned them in as suspected phishing scams because every time my husband tries to talk to them, they ask him for his SSN which is a HUGE no no. We will NOT give our SSN's over the phone to ANYONE. Collection agency or not, they need to stop calling all the time and get a clue. We will not give personal info over the phone and they should know better than to ask!

These idiots ding all day long.

Got a call from this number today.  It was spoofed (I have VOIP, normal calls on the DID that was called have a 1 in front of the number, this one didn't.)  They said they were from Affiliated Credit or something (collection agency I've never heard of and never seen on my credit history.)

Best thing to do if you get a call from collections is tell them the person they're looking for is not available and hang up on them.  NEVER, EVER identify yourself as the person they're looking for.  It will only step up their harassment.

Actually, I think next time I'll just transfer them to the music-on-hold blackhole and let them listen to the best elevator hold music the Internet has to offer >:) Isn't Asterisk wonderful?

I got at least 10 calls from different caller playing exactly same message on my home phone and cellphone.

whatever company behind this calls.  They are vicious soliciting!!
Please stop them!!

I got a call from this number and didn't answer it. However, I found out shortly after that it was a friend of mine trying to call me on a "Skype" phone through his computer. So what this tells me is that it could be any Skype user calling.

My telephone company (Comcast)'s website (listing of missed phone calls) shows the calling number as 305-000-0104 with the caller name as "Hamilton C".  However, my home telephone's "missed calls" list (which uses CallerID) showed the same phone call as coming from 315-859-4011 with the caller name also as "Hamilton C".  It turned out to be my daughter's college (Hamilton) asking for a donation.

However, this means that it is quite possible that many of the reports of calls from 305-000-0104 aren't the correct phone number.  I wonder if there is something to the earlier comments about VOIP calls giving bogus phone numbers...?

Caller said they were calling to lower my credit card debt.  After further inquiry, it was revealed that they do not work with any of the CC companies.  They wanted to negotiate on my behalf because "I deserve better rates".

I got two calls from this number today. It shows up as "Unknown" on my caller ID. I didn't bother to answer the call because it seems so unlikely that any legitimate call would come from a number like this. But I know they've called before and I'm getting really tired of getting these calls! I'm on the DNC list; how are these people even reaching me???

I am tired of getting these calls from this crazy number!!!  It is harassment!

rec'd 5 calls within a week.. sounds like someone speaking a foreign language.  Didn't answer..just let the machine pickup.

also received 4 calls from a (phone?)number listed as 390984502944.  what is this?  Both within the same week.

For me it was a legitimate call from HP regarding a part I had shipped to me recently.  They were just checking to make sure I received it and wanted to remind me to send the old part back.

The message I got when I picked up the phone was telling me it was a very important message about my auto warranty and that they have been trying to reach me for some time and this was my last chance.(I hung up the phone then.)

I got the same message this morning, but at that time the number showed up on caller ID as "blocked."

I've gotten calls from this number before, and once they start calling you, they never stop. I'm afraid this may be the start of another cycle of calls. How do I get them to stop??? And why isn't the Do Not Call system (to which I am signed up) preventing this?????

Call the same call about lowering credit card rates and told them if they ever call here again that I would bring them up on charges to whcih they just laughed so how do we stop them?

Got a call from 305-000-0104 asking if my business had happy hour today. I asked where they were calling from, and she told me the name of the town that I am in. When I explained that we had food available at the bar, she hung up. Weird. Could be someone checking to see if we report to our liability insurance company correctly, but could also be a legit call from a voip line.

Got two calls (at least) from this number today. Both went to my voice mail, where it recorded about one minute of silence before the line disconnected. First call was at 11:09 and second at 11:25. Basically, if someone is calling from a VOIP phone or even an independent company exchange they can program whatever number they like to be displayed. It's unfortunate because it does make it real work to find out who they are to prosecute.

constant calls ...hey leave no message so I let teh machine get it...it's just annoying though...

I get this call at least 6 times a week. Today when they called and asked me to press 9 to speak with a rep I did. When the rep answered I immediately asked them to remove my number from their list and the rep cursed at me and called me a name and hung up. I am now taking legal action.

The person on this number called me stating that they were responding to a MEDICAL ALERT.  I recommended that if this was a true medical alert, they should do a better job knowing how to reach the people paying them for their service.  Wrong number or as all the other posts show, scam, or collection of some sort that I am not aware.

Called .. left a 20 second no voice messages, just background air,... I dialed the number back and it rang once then goes to busy signal. Im using grand central// GoogleVoice so i block all numbers i dont know the owner to immediately.
