It's not like the scams used to be, she's not asking for that many products. Guess they've gotten more cautious as the years have gone by. I remember the first time I saw this back in 2005, my district manager at the time almost didn't tell me it was a scam. Said I'd be financially liable for any products. I called a lawyer and he said no, she would for not disclosing what she knew.- Caller: Vicky's sister modeling agency and photo studio
- KatrinaHi i recently received a message from a vicky's sister modeling agency in Florida asking for a large order. I thought it sounded fishy when I looked it up i found all these messages so glad i went with my gut. She's going by vickyjeffries12@yahoo.com and about three others like that.

- Lori replies to MoI received this email just this morning from Vicky's Sister Modeling Agency. She is placing a large order with all the same info the rest of you have received! Good thing we are all checking these posts! I thought it was awful strange that she didn't want to order herself using my web page and have it sent directly to her. Besides, NO ONE comes to our little farm town for a "photo shoot", especially not all the way from Florida!!!!!!
- erikaI keep getting these emails too, I am a newbie to avon. Thankfully I called my upline to ask a question, and she informed me of the scam. It is fun to play with them tho.

- samantha barnhart replies to MoI got the same email wanting to buy avon n it was from vickysister modeling n photo studio in fl
- SimoneIn the past few days I began receiving emails from a Vicky Jeffrey <vickyjeffrey18@yahoo.com>; she said she wanted to place an order for an included list of items because the agency was conducting a photo shoot here in my home town. (Suspicious now that I think of it, considering our tiny little town has absolutely no claim to fame whatsoever.) She asked for my name, number, address, etc. Luckily I decided to Google the agency. I was already in the process of composing a reply when I discovered this site and that it was a scam. I just wanted to make sure I posted her newest email and to say thank you to everyone on here for getting the word out about this. My district manager didn't mention anything about this, I'm curious as to if she knew anything and failed to tell me.

- marywow!!! how many "Blah"blah's sister modeling agency and photo studio could there be?
i got Vicky's sister and Jaime's sister. no one really ordered the products did they for these idiots?
no way would an avon rep put out her own money for products for this kink of situation. this person sending out identical requests and only changing her or his name.- Caller: email from Vicky's sister modeling agency and Jaime's sister modeling agency
- MargieSame thing....Vicky's sister is the name being used right now. Knew it was a scam and replied asking why her phone number was not working and that I would need to speak to her on the phone. I got a reply that she just had ear surgery and couldn't talk on the phone...WOW. How can people live with themselves?
- autumn"Vicky" has emailed me several times with the same story--a modeling agency from Miami is coming to my town. Yeah right! I told her she can order through my website. (I have a strict policy that strangers must order through my website). Undeterred, she emailed again with another explanation. Mark her as junk mail and you won't get anymore from her.
- Emily replies to Trisha HamiltonI, unfortunately, did fall for this scam because of the conversing back and forth that they do. It wasn't until AFTER i gave them my address that I got a second email identical to the first but a different "agency" that I got suspicious. They sent me a "check" for almost $2000 and asked if I would forward the rest of the money for their airline tickets because there was a mix-up with the checks. Fortunately I didn't deposit the check! I think that's the whole thing, They want you to deposit a bogus check so they can gain access to your account! Scary! Bummed that I fell for it but thankful that I didn't go any farther than just my address and name, and feeling like a complete idiotic fool... Praying that nothing more comes of this whole debacle. I'll definitely be keeping a very close eye on all of my accounts! It's sad because we're all trying to make some money by being an Avon Rep, and new people like myself, are eager for the business!
- Emily replies to JosielingDid you recieve a "check" from them? I unfortunately fell for this and got their "check" today along with the story about there being a mix up with the money for their airline tickets and it was all sent to me.... makes me feel like an idiot for falling for it and being so eager for clientele.
- ARussellI received an email from Amanda Sister Modeling Agency in CA requesting AVON products for a photoshoot in my hometown....I live in a VERY small town that NOBODY even remotely famous would even consider visiting. My gut told me almost instantly it was a scam so I looked up the agency and found all these comments. So glad my gut was right. The "woman" emailing me went by the name Amanda Venegas.
- anniei am an avon rep. and i recieved an email from this company ordering products from avon and regarding payment. but yet still no payment. so i called the number they gave me and it was disconnected so of course its a scam.

- DebI have gotten several of these messages. I am new to Avon, and have gotten a few a these messages. This last one has went as far as emailing me back after I politely told her to use my page. Her newest email said that due to having a sponser she could not use a credit card or debit card for online purchases. She also "assured me" that she was not running a scam and was in need of these products. I'm done playing email tag with her and I am blocking her.
