WARNING--BEWARE!!  These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers. Under NO circumstances give your credit card number to these lowlifes, or you will regret it forever!

I got a call from this number but didn't answer.

The card service scammers  WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining. People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can.

"We represent your creditors, and we can lower your interest rates."

"Really.  That's very interesting.  Tell me, who exactly do you represent?"

"Your creditors."

"I understand that, but who are my creditors?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, if you represent my creditors, then you obviously know who you're representing, right?"

"No sir.  We don't have access to that information."

"Okay, so let me see if I get this straight.  You represent my creditors, and you say you can lower my interest rates with my creditors, but you can't tell me who my creditors are?"

"That's right sir.  We don't have access to that information.  That's why we're calling you."  (well at least THAT'S the truth)

I said you called me and you should have my information. Enough said, hung up. DNC list is ineffective!

The DNC list is effective - just not on criminals.  Expecting a scammer to observe the DNC is like expecting a bank robber to stop for a red light.

When I refused to give these people any information he told me in his foreign accent "Fu.. you"  A SCAM!!!

I had a similar conversation - asked which of my credit cards they represented, they said "we represent all major US banks" I told him I didn't have a credit card with a major US bank, then he said "well we represent many smaller banks too" .  So I asked him to identify the exact card, because I wasn't sure that they really were from my card company, and that calling using an auto dialer, with a recorded call, to a number that is on the do not call list - is a violation of the TCPA.  Then he hung up.........

Every couple of weeks, like clock work, I receive a phone call from "Lisa" telling me I have a chance to reduce my credit card debt...And every time they call I press the button connecting me to a "Service Specialist" that want to shred them verbally to pieces...But no one is there!!! That makes me sad...I just wish can waste their time like they did mine...Only if our technology would allow for peer-to-peer physical interaction...I would CHOKE THE LIFE OUT OF THEM...And probably end up in jail!!! Oh well...It is nice to dream. LOL...Can't you tell I am REALLY ANNOYED : )

Caller left a message about CC interest rate reduction.

Yeah, they tend to get testy when they don't get what they want.  Perhaps a Dale Carnegie course would help.  :-)

The only thing they'll reduce is your available credit.
