I do not answer calls from sources I don't recognize. This spammer called at 8:47 am and rang long enough to leave a partial recorded message on my voice mail about lowering interest rates. I haven't a clue who they are, and googling the number was basically a dead end. If this call was legitimate, I should be able to find their phone number on the Internet. The only information I could get is this is a cell phone number in Miami.

I got a call from this number. The caller ID showed "Cell Phone FL". I did not answer and it never left a message. So I would say don't answer this call.

Caller ID Name said "Florida" which is hilarious in itself.  But I have that name blocked, along with other state names such as 'New York', 'Missouri', 'Oregon', etc. so it doesn't matter what number they use, they still get the SIT tones and an immediate disconnect.

The person claimed that they were from the "Card Member Services". The person on the phone sounded like he was from India, last name was Vinson. Had a lot of the information of the credit card that he wanted to lower the interest rate on, but couldn't really answer any of my own questions and he was unable to provide any real information about the company itself, other than they were associated with CitiBank, Bank of American, and Chase. However, the card that he was supposedly calling about wasn't through them. Looked up the number and it is listed as a cellphone in Hialeah, FL. Tried calling the number back and it is busy.

The ONLY thing that that this creature that called you DIDN'T lie about, was that it was calling from 'card member services', some of the biggest scammers around.

I received a call from 305-368-7729 on 10/18/14 at 10:14 am ET.  My Caller ID listed it as "Cell Phone. Florida".  I knew it was a phone spammer before I even answered, but I find it amusing to talk to these people -- without ever giving them any of my info of course.  The caller said he was from "Card Member Services" and that he wanted to reduce my credit card rate.  (I don't have any credit cards, haven't for years - and my phone number has been on the useless Do Not Call list for years as well.)  Anyway, I asked him where he was calling from, and he replied "Miami, Florida". I asked him if he wanted to consolidate my credit cards, and he replied that they do not consolidate -- just reduce card interest rates. I asked him for the phone number for his company. He gave me a number, which I confirmed as fake by calling it back. Then he hung up on me.

P.S.  I reported them this morning to the DNC.  They must be working from a new number today, because I could find no complaints about them this morning. Tonight, there are already quite a few about them in just one day. They've definitely been busy, and maybe they were hoping to get some victims before we had a chance to figure them out. I didn't bite, and recommend you don't, either.

These are the numbers that called my landline is a five day time frame.  I finally got so annoyed that I reached out to my phone carrier and expressed my complete dissatisfaction of being on the "Do Not Call List" (joke) they said that they could not traqce these numbers because they are spoofed so I took her suggestion and blocked all of these numbers using *60 and following the prompts.  Although the amount of calls have decreased significantly there are new numbers that are appearing on my phone one caller id call was from My name and number I believe this tactic is to get the curiosity of the person and they will answer I did not. But I can see where some folks would just to find out who's calling there home using there name and number.  I also received calls that say Private number another way to not be able to track these scam artist.  Just yesterday I got a call from Jamaica that left a message that I had won the lottery and would receive 10K a week for the rest of my life all I have to do is go purchase a card for 250.00 from Walmart.  This was the message he left the bad thing is this call originates from Jamaica and to call them back which I would never do but some folks would cost a fortune.  These people prey on the elderly and the desperate hard working individuals that pray for some type of relief.  Having said all this I have attached a list of numbers to beware of they are scams they will steal your identity and they are ruthless about it.  My only advice I can give you is to call your phone carrier and check if you have the ability to block callers on your line.  Even though they will come up with a whole new list of numbers at least you will get a little relief.  If you have received calls from any of these numbers they are all scams.  Good luck and may God watch over the victims these criminals have taken advantage of.
