Not true, that would be for 911. If someone is being murdered you don’t call the police department, you call 911, which if prank called can interfere with people in desperate need of help. The police department on the other hand is like prank calling the post office, you’re just gonna piss someone off.

Actually you are incorrect there. As someone who actually ASKED a friend who was in law enforcement, you CAN get into trouble for tying up the regular lines.
