Keeps calling no messages. Calls from various numbers multiple times.

This guy (Nathan) has called me from 3 different numbers! Including this one. He claims he is with some kind of college thing. You can call the number back and be removed from the calling list. But they just call from a different number.

Ever since FB put the required Messenger app on peoples pages and required them to download it to get their messages, I have been getting these calls about 2-1/2 weeks ago.  Here's a bunch more that are showing up.  When you mention it on FB everyone thinks it's BS.  But if you read the fine print, they can take all of the person's contacts and use them at their discretion. Be prepared, because the people who have downloaded the app do not realize the problems it is causing those people who do not even use FB.

I wonder if that is what is going on with me.  I have a dumb flip phone - but if one of my smartphone friends is using the FB messenger...

I've gotten calls from 305- (twice) and 678-, and 917- as well as about 7 others over the last 30 hours

Received call at 8:30pm. Didnt answer. Getting alot of unknown numbers.

I think your theory is correct.  the timing seems just right with the release of the new FB messenger.  I never had telemarketers before this.

Wow I didn't know downloading that app would do this in the past two days I've gotten calls from all the same numbers you listed..unbelievable!

I wish these calls would stop.  I have the National DO NOT Call Register and it seems like that isn't working either. Please let me know what I can do.  Very annoying.

More bogus and robot calls! This is more of a gimmick set up by hucksters that want information, phone numbers, and anything else that they can possibly get. The purpose is either a scam, fraud, high-pressure sales, information theft, other nefarious activity, or some combination.

If I do not recognize a number, I will NOT answer! There are just too many frauds, hucksters, fakers, phonies, and con game artists out there that are very happy to rip people off and see them parted with their money! Beware!

I have the same numbers popping up on my phone at least 4 or 5 times a day as well.  I had to activate my Im in a meeting voice response. I may need to file a complaint with no call registery as my email, cell and landline is listed on this government list https://www.donotcall.gov/
