- MattGetting call from this number, left no message.
- AnnGetting a repeated call from this number to renew our advertising on Yellowpages.com The individual had an accent of foreign decent. He got very angry when I told him I did not know what he was referring to considering I am the one who handles all advertisements for our small business. Proceeded to say that it isn't "their fault when we receive an expensive bill!"

- SandyI have had 2 calls from this number and they just hangup, they don't say anything. So stupid.
- MartyI also got a call from this number, sounds like a boiler room in the background. They ask for the manager or owner and when I say yes they hang up.
- JamieI also just received a call from telephone billing advertising (YP). I never ask advertising from them, never signed on with them. I told them to seen me the information. They wanted me to pay on the phone over $600. I told them I do not believe you are who you say you are, send me everything in the mail! They hanged up on me, after saying o you'll receive a bill.
- Patrick SteinI just had the same kind of call. I fought with the guy for 10 minutes. He kept telling me he needed to transfer me to the Quality Department to give me an 8-digit cancellation number. I kept yelling at him to transfer me then and send me the information to my mailing address. He wouldn't transfer me until he reviewed with me what kinds of questions the quality department would ask me.
I asked him what company he was calling from again. He said "Business Yellow Pages". I said, "Where is your company?" He said, "In the United States." I said, "Where?" He said, "New York". I said, "Give me an address that I can write to... give me an address that I can report to the better business bureau." He said, "I am not working for you, sir. I do not have to answer to your beck and call." I said, "I'm not working for you, either." And, I hung up.- Caller: "Business Yellow Pages"

- Janel| 1 replyGot a call several times from them, claiming they are the YellowPages. Wanted to transfer me to Quality Control so they can give me a cancel number and an invoice for $649. Said they spoke with our owner and was told the costs were too expensive, so they should call back and give me the info to cancel. He told me to answer "Yes" to every question. First Call: When I wouldn't give my last name, they hung up. Second call: I questioned the amount and what dates it was for, they hung up. They called back 5 more times and I wouldn't answer the phone. They never left a message. We are on the national "Do not call" list and this is an obvious scam. I called the real YelloPages and they told me we have a free listing, and they don't have a location in Marathon, FL. (which is what came up on the caller ID when they called) She said they hear about this scam all the time.
- Caller: supposedly...Yellow Pages

- NIcholeToday we received our 2nd call from this company. He said his name was David William. He said he was from Business Yellow Pages and he was giving a cancellation confirmation number for our on-line account. He said that he was mailing our Cancellation papers and it would take 15-20 business days. That the cancellation packet would include#1 A Letter of Closure #2 Contract Papers and #3 Pending Invoice of 649.99. He then told me if we did not cancel today...that we would be charged double for the next year. I asked him for a call back number and he said that he need to give me more information first and told me that they told me to leave the information with the receptionist...I told him to email me information and he only wanted to confirm the address and phone number. I transfer the phone call to the owner of the company and they hung up. This is obviously a scam

- ChrisPeerless network provides this phone number. Their contact info is listed at http://www.peerlessnetwork.com/contact-us/. If enough people call maybe we can influence them to stop these people from doing this crap. They simply ignore the do not call lists anyway.

- LorraineSame thing here. Got a call from a man with an accent claiming he was Jason Carter, Manager, at Yellow Pages. Caller ID showed Marathon, FL and phone# 305-602-0901. He said our sales manager (he had his correct name) had called to cancel our YellowPage advertisement and he was calling back to provide a cancellation# and he needed to transfer me to his billing dept to approve an invoice of $649. He directed me to only answer yes and no to questions and nothing else.
I tried calling back the phone#, but nothing happens! It doesn't even ring. TOTAL FLIP'N SCAM!- Caller: Yellow Pages

- RusTTwo calls in a row from this number, came up as "Miami, FL" on caller ID. I don't answer calls I don't recognize, and they didn't leave a message. (Glad I didn't answer, from what I read here.)
I get many telemarketing calls to my cell because of a business I once owned. I closed the business over six years ago, but these lists just never die. It doens't matter if you're on the DNC, if you ever listed a number as a business line, it's apparently public information that anyone can get. It doesn't make it right, but I'm not ready to change my number just yet. (Who knows what lists my new number would be on!) - JohnThis number was reported to police.
- candiceReceived Same Phone Call. Wanted 649$ To Cancel Yellow Page AD. He Was Very RUde! Told Him I Was Reporting Him To BBB...SCAM....Beware!

- mcutrerReceived a call that said the owner ( that has been retired for 5 yrs.) called and cancelled the account and she wanted to give me a cancellation number. I told her that it was impossible because he has been retired and she immediately hung up. About a week later the same lady calls and says the same thing. When I told her she already called I didn't even get to finish my sentence and she hung up. This should be ileagal !!!
- The_MiamianKeep getting calls with no message... Since you get the caller ID and know it is a scam, why are you answering the phone?
Keep a loud whistle near the phone and answer it with that if you must answer it. Call Block works too.
Luckily I missed the calls as I was waiting for a call from a place in Miami.... But since this site says it is a scam... I know I will never answer the phone for that number. Funny thing is that I never had a business and this is my personal home phone that is unlisted. So who knows how they got my number...
