99% of calls i get from 305 are telephone paid charity solicitors, insurance,medical supplies and down right fraud like you won a cruse but they almost all want your credit card numbers. never give cc numbers , or ss numbers or any specific info if you did not initiate the call and know who your speaking to. i even had one give me a web site looked legit but had no contact phone or e mail not mailing address and she could not provide a direct phone number or address

Constant calls it is a scam.  Often hangs up with no answer. I have blocked it

Just received a call.  She (foreign accent - of course) claimed to be from Comcast and wanted to help me improve my services.  On calls like this, you need to be careful not to ever respond "yes" to any question.  They take that and use as approval.  When she asked if I were available, I asked why she wanted to know.  When she told me why, I said this is fraud and hung up.

The usual Pakistan call center scam of the week. They spoof to look like a local phone. Probably fund raising for terrorist groups.

Received several calls from this number over the past 3 weeks.  Haven't answered and no message left.

Called and asked if I am an authorized user of our Comcast account. I talked to Comcast yesterday and thought this might be a return call that I was expecting. I answered yes. I was then asked to spell my name to make sure he got the spelling correct. I knew then that this was a scam call, told him we need no changes, and hung up.

Said they were Comcast security systems. I think it was not. Very suspicious. Don’t reveal any info to them or you’ll be set up for more calls or maybe a burglary.

When I receive this type of call I research and if I find it has been reported as a scam, I then send the following text:
You are a scammer and I have reported you to authorities.
As a result I am receiving fewer and fewer of these calls.

Gee, that's nice. But what about all the calls from spoofed numbers? You'd be harassing an innocent person with that little stunt.

The scammers all pass around your phone number and say "Don't call this person, they'll report you to the authorities!" I mean, how else do you think your threat gives you that result?

Called and wanted to know if my refrigerator was running.  It was, so I ran to catch it!

This is Comcast selling their home security system.
