ive had this number call multiple times about duct cleaning...I just tell them im a renter.

Had this number call me (September 9th at 5:20pm). Leona from DPVI asking me if I needed my furnace ducts cleaned. Politely informed her that I have wood stoves in the house.

I had no idea I could find this out by googling a number.   Great idea!!!!!

Duct cleaniners.... but why do they phone me?! If i need their services, I will call them! They've called me only twice in the last year, but its still annoying.

Simple way to make them stop is to question them.
1) where is their fixed office located
2) is anyone a fully certified worker, if so what is there degree of certification.
3) if any of these are not answered fully in detail they could be arrested and charge for fraud.

Whoever it is could leave a message saying who's calling or at least identify themselves on their voicemail so we know who tried to call and what their business was. If it was a company of some kind it makes you wonder what they're up to and why they can't be straight up.

This number called it rang twice and they hung up I didn't return the call

Noticed when I reverse looked up the number, they used to use 3063478960, but they changed it and called today from 3063478961. Didn't answer, felt suspicious, and here we are..

Where do they find our unlisted phone or cell numbers

If you ever posted your phone number on a social site, or used it when ordering online, or typed it in an insecure computer, or gave it to a friend whose computer was attacked, or filled out an entry form at a fair or a supermarket, or used it on a contest entry form, or put it on a postcard for a magazine or purchase, or were among those whose information was hacked from some organization, or obtained a "new" phone number ... your number is probably known to the scammers.

There, now you know all about how spammers can dial YOUR phone number, even if it is unlisted, and even if only relatives know it, and even if it is on or off the DNC list.

I hope that helps prove the DNC list DOES work!  It helps prevent calls from registered / legitimate telemarketers, but it is not able to stop calls from telespammers.  It is also NOT designed to stop political callers (who usually get the numbers from voter registration lists), calls from charities, or some other companies, such as debt collectors; or some companies with which you have done business in the last 18 months.

Why shouldn't I call it back. Is it a scam?
