Mystery call from a number that seems to have been disconnected.

2 calls from this number today no message left

Had 3 calls from this number (and 3 more on my wife's phone).  The CallerID number appears to be incorrect but cannot get my phone provider to find out what is going on and AT&T doesn't want to talk to you unless you are a customer (This number is operated by AT&T in Casper, WY).  Rumour has it that it is a company "Campus Survey" but I cannot find any reference to them.  I asked them to identify themselves but they refused to.

This is the third call that has come from this number. I say 'Hello' and the caller hangs up. I am also in White Rock, B.C.

Another of these dalls just came. This time they said they were doing an 'air quality survey in White Rock' (so they KNEW where they were calling!)....and asked if there were any smokers in the house. At this point, I told them I was NOT interested in their survey ....and hung up.

I just received a call from this number as well. They have been calling a lot as I see this number on my call display daily for at least a couple of weeks. He said they were doing research for Enviro Tech on Fawcett. Asked info regarding asma/allergy sufferer, smoker, air quailty in White Rock, type of work, how long living in W/R - I answered a few of the questions - I just hope not too many!!!!
