I received  a  text message on my cell phone from 1 307 215- 1688. the message  states " send me a text message and maybe I will send you a naughty picture "..... This appears to be a scam for sure.  I do not know any [***]  person in Wyoming where this text message apparently originated.... So guys  and gals beware,  do not fall for this telephone scam.    

There have been multiple complaints of this same text here today. Try forwarding it to 7726 (short code for SPAM) to your cell provider, to have it investigated and blocked.

Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation’s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that’s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

Please see Alfalfa's post above also. For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
