These people are relentless. They are the same scammers that called from the number (401) 223-3254. Its a lady who is calling with the process and summons division. She states they have my name and social and that they are going to file a summons for two felonies. All BS. Do not call these people back or answer their calls!!

    Whatever
    Same as ArmyGirl..

Another Scam call trying to scare someone into paying something by stating that you are going to be served at work or home and that you will forfeit your rights once you are served, (in my county btw.. really?) and that you need to call their legal department..

No company name, name recorded (badly and not pronounced correctly), recorded case number and recorded call back number all in a computer voice.. yeah, really sounds legit...

Same as above. Same caller but calling from a different number. Gonna block this number too. They are also calling my parents. I told them to not answer any calls like that. These guys are irritating.
By the way I really don't think you are going to be warned before your served at least that is the way it is in my county.

Received a phone call from 307-316-0812 this afternoon from a Valerie (or Victoria, can't recall which) Smith, stating that there were fraudulent activity charges against my social security number and that I would need to appear in court. I called the number back and a man answered and asked me for a case number, I said that they hadn't left one, he asked for the last 4 digits of my social, which I refused to give him. He then proceeded to read off 4 numbers and asked me if they were correct, I said no and hung up. Ridiculous the things people waste their time doing....totally a spam call.

I get calls from them from 8 am until. I am really getting tried of them calling from all these different numbers and the biggest issue is now since it is income tax season they are really trying to put the scare in people. Please beware of 240-200-1225, 307-316-0812, and 1-888-408-0154 they represent the same company that calls you every day. I feel sorry for the ones who have this type of job because My God would not be please if we treated people like nothing. I do not care what type of position of power you think you maybe in God has more power and if you think cursing, threatening to serve, process, and being mean to people will help get you salvation then I strongly suggest for each of you to search your hearts and find another job. It could not be me laying down at night scamming and showing hatred daily when people come from all walks of life and one day you might have to go through yourself.

These people that are calling and harassing people with their fraudulent claim of you being served with court papers are the lowest scum of the earth. They should be tracked down and have the s--- beat out of them. Then they would think twice about continuing harassing individuals with their bogus annoying phone calls.

Me too, started a week ago and getting worse. Even had one of them call my son today stating they were at our court house getting ready to send out a warrent on me. He told her that was funny, he just went by and it was close, Martin Luther King birthday and court house closed!!!!  I had 3 calls from them today.  I have all voice mails saved and will continue to do so. Just wish they would stop, but from all I have read on this site, it won't stop any time soon. Wish I know what we could do to stop the calls, short of changing numbers. They have all my information too. Scares me to death that they have my social. I have been checking my cards and other accounts. How in the world can anyone feel safe anymore????????????

All the same as above...same numbers...same female voice too...I am not calling back.  They seem to have my real name and real phone number obviously...but no other valid information is given.  This just started for me AFTER the Target Breach....the Target Breach said the scammers got our names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and maybe home addresses.  Just wondering if there is a connection?

Same as above. Stating that there is fraud connected to my name and social however they didn't even give a name in the message or any info. I called back and a dude answered they didn't even give a company name so I hung up. Called back after hours and they don't even have a voicemail it just hangs up on you. Total scam!

I got a call from them, Amy Anderson and I did call them back.  First she had the wrong first name, Angeline.  When I told her that wasn't me, she then went down a list of names that started with my initial.  Well hell after a few guesses, you eventually will get it right.  She wanted me to verify my SSN. I refused.  She then asked me was I related to a certain person.  I told her no.  She asked if I knew someone else.  I told them yes, she's deceased.  Ms Anderson replied, "I KNOW, DIED AT 50."  I know for a fact I have NEVER put that person down as a reference for anything EVER, so I asked her what does a person that passed in 1994 have to do with anything that's relevant today?  Ms Anderson said she's trying to make sure they have the right person.  She said I took out a payday loan in May 2010 with CashNet, which I have never.  The loan balance was $500, now with fees it's $1390 and since I'm refusing to pay she's sending the police to my place of employment, Chase bank.  I have never worked for Chase Bank either.

I told Ms. Anderson Good Luck with that.  Have a blessed day.  :)

I just calles this number back today just to see if anyone would answer because I had already looked into the numbers and knew it was a scam. The guy asked if my name was right I said yes then he told me the last for of my ss number rather then asking for it. Then proceeded to tell me a bunch of stuff for a couple minutes and asked how id like to pay and settle with his client. I proceeded to tell them I knew it was a scam I wasnt going to give them anything he wouldnt give me a name of their company d then told me good luck in court and hung up.i

I got the same message yesterday.  It was a recorded message and she gave her name as "Patricia" and told me that I was being charged on two counts in my county for fraud.  I had to laugh at this one!  Total scam to try and get you to call back or leave personal information.

Got a robo call from this number. Same scammer different tele #  The robo voice sounds like a cheap News Reporter looking to score her first scoop. It's more than likely, a previous scammer that had to close shop and now open under a new number. Same BS stuff, they say you owe aka-zillion dollars and if you don't call, court, police, FBI, CIA, REPO, (LOL), yada yada yada, I have been getting theses calls for 3 years and my data base has over 300 telephone #'s that called. SCAM SCAM SCAM. I report to the FTC and l block the number. If you took out a pay day lone even if it was years ago, and you PAID it all back, you're $crewed. Your info was HACKED, STOLEN or flat out SOLD to creeps who pull this $hit. I so far have been instrumental is getting a handful arrested but like the Hydra beast, you cut off one head and another grows back. The FBI is well aware of this viral epidemic but they don't have the money or manpower to go after all of them. That's where YOU come in. REPORT to the FTC, just google FTC and follow instructions. Takes a well spent 5- 10 minutes. DO IT! I hate these @$$H0LES.

These people won't stop calling until we put them out of business. They are a scam and what they are doing is illegal. Yes, illegal. Against FDCPA. Please please please file a complaint with the Atty General and the FTC. Then block their calls. They will keep calling you, your place of employment and anyone they think is connected to you. Attorney General's offices in many states have been working to shut down these types of operations. They get new phone numbers frequently, or use internet phone lines so can sometimes be hard to trace- but the quicker and more often they are reported, the quicker they can be taken down:

I got the message and it was strangely garbled so I thought I should ignore it but I did a google search on the number and found that others are reporting as a SPAM caller.  Because we are a place of business we get these calls from time to time and they are quite annoying.  I want to know what can be done about it.   I'd love to have these people stopped.
