Caller ID read Cheyenne WY. It rang three times.  I think they are wise to the 4th ring going to voice mail and then they have to pay a connection fee.  I didn't answer it and I blocked it.  We use Vonage and they only allow 25 blocked calls.  You can fill that up by Wednesday! We also have iPhones. I have my iPhone ring when someone calls our landline. I block the call on my iPhone and when they call again the home phone rings twice and the iPhone doesn't ring at all.

These scammers called three times in a row. Google Voice indicted that they hung up on the challenge. Will block.

I don't pick up unrecognized numbers. I don't know why these scamming telemarketers think this is a budiness number.

Try searching your number on the both the Dunn and Bradstreet and Manta websites. I was receiving calls for a business on one of my previous home phone numbers. I searched my number and discovered that it was listed as belonging to the business in question. I contacted both Dunn and Bradstreet and Manta demanding that they remove my number from their websites. Manta removed honored my demand,  however D&B did not.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will certainly give it a try. I have nothing to loose.

You are quite  welcome.  I guess it is safe to say that telemaggoters are still calling my previous number to this day. If so they are now calling a local movie theater and hopefully getting nothing but movie listing.
