- Sorter| 2 repliesI called back twice and let it ring both times for a prolonged amount of time and got no answer or voicemail. When they called my # I did not answer, but they also left no voicemail. Anybody else, know anything more?
- SorterSame here... I called back twice and let it ring both times for a prolonged amount of time and got no answer or voicemail. When they called my # I did not answer, but they also left no voicemail. They have called me twice from this number and now jumped to calling me from 308-766-2596, very annoying.
- CuriousI received a call, did not answer, they did not leave a voice mail. Our caller ID says it's from Univ of Wy (University of Wyoming). A note on the UW website (http://directory.uwyo.edu/) states that "unless otherwise noted, the area code and exchange for all UW departments is 307-766." When I searched the 766-2685 phone number, I got no results.
- Robison| 1 replyA woman from this number called about a survey. When my father, who was here babysitting, tokd her we would not be back till this evening, she got very rude and hateful, saying that shes sick of calling people and then lying about not being home instead if saying they dont want to take the survey. He called me. I called the number back. She picked up the phone and hung up 3 times. Finally answered on the 4th. I said someone from this number called about a survey. Very rude and hateful she said well you dont want to take the survey then hung up on me! Im so pissed. Trying to figure out how to report her!
- Caller: University of Wyoming
- Call type: Survey
- Mike-in-MD replies to RobisonYou could start with the University of Wyoming Public Relations Office. They would very likely take a very dim view of the attitude of the caller and how they were damaging the reputation of the University.
- lI got a call from a woman sounded older she stated that she was calling from the New Mexico health department and was trying to say my name I told her if your from health it should state my gender I am not a male if you can't pronounce my name try the last name would be respectful asked why she was called got pissey and hung up I called back and asked again why she was calling she said" I said I'm with new Mexico health department don't u listen" hangs up again. Doesn't answer the two times after that but on thirty she answered and said her name was ruby I stated I needed her bosses number and name she then called me the n word and said look it up yourself if your so smart. This [***] has no clue who I know or the steps I will take to have her thrown in jail for false impressions and fraud asking people for their info and she's not even with who she says
- Caller: stated she was with new mexico health department

- Brian| 4 repliesThis call is from Wyoming. They do academic survey research on behalf of a number of different state and federal agencies (Montana Dept. of Health, Louisiana Dept. of Health, North Dakota Dept. of Health, etc.). Most surveys measure a number of health indicators (smoking, disease, etc.) to help the State address these issues and measure change over time. They hand dial every number, which is a randomly generated string of numbers. If you answer and ask to be put on their do not call list they will happily do so. All surveys have undergone OMB or Institutional Review Board approval, and all are TCPA compliant.

- Mermaid replies to Brian| 1 replyBig Brother is alive and well and contracted telemarketers make random survey calls soliciting an individual's health information. According to the federal Center for Disease Control and Prevention;s website, The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) is the nation's "premier system" of health-related telephone surveys that collect state data about U.S. residents regarding their health-related risk behaviors, chronic health conditions, and use of preventive services.
- D.Kvande replies to BrianWHO are THEY? Don't THEY have a NAME? If you can't NAME THEM, THEY are Not Legit
- D.Kvande replies to MermaidThe Purported "surveyor" did not introduce herself by the Name of the Organization she represented; She called on a Saturday Afternoon from an Out-of-State number & stated she was doing a survey for my State's Department of Health. What's the chance that I believed her?
