No message calls

repeated calls lately  says  U of Wyo on ID  wanted to survey

Calls every Sunday night?  No messages

I've never answered this call, but they call between 6:30 and 8:30 pm and never leave a message. Has been going on weekly for a month.

Been getting lots of calls in the last 2 weeks, but never any voicemail. When I call back I either get a busy signal or it just rings forever until it turns into a busy signal.  Tonight I actually picked up and just listened.  It was a woman’s voice, and she just kept saying, “Hello? I hear somebody there. Hello?”  Never identified herself or why she was calling.

They called me around 7 and never left a voicemail.

Been getting a call almost every night for a week now from this and similar numbers with the WY area code. Picked it up the first time (around 7:30 pm) and a guy said U of WY doing a research survey. I said I was busy & he asked when next I would be free. He kept listing off days & I said sarcastically yeah we'll see. Been getting calls like i said every day since anywhere between the hours of 2 & 8 pm since. Really annoying. Never leave messages or anything.

This call is from Wyoming. They do academic survey research on behalf of a number of different state and federal agencies (Montana Dept. of Health, Louisiana Dept. of Health, North Dakota Dept. of Health, etc.). Most surveys measure a number of health indicators (smoking, disease, etc.) to help the State address these issues and measure change over time. They hand dial every number, which is a randomly generated string of numbers. If you answer and ask to be put on their do not call list they will happily do so.  All surveys have undergone OMB or Institutional Review Board approval, and all are TCPA compliant.  Not a scam.

So, you decided to look up 307-766-xxxx numbers on the internet came to complaints website, and then sing your employer's praises.?Looks like you are doing damage control.

So many scam calls since the oil boom started -- number now blocked.  If true that it is a survey, a reputable institute should examine better ways to mine data.

They wanted me to take a survey about the national parks service or something.
