caller left no voicemail and answered the phone saying "Investigation." my guess, they are spam or a fraudulent caller.

Says they are an investigator but don't disclose any info.  Just bully's - hang up.

This callers from this number don't identify themselves or give any truthful contact information.   If they give a name it is false.  

They seem like bad telemarketers who buy old debts and try and collect them.  They said they are "an investigator" or pretend  to be with an attorney. They mumble their company information to hide their identity.  

When we told them we couldn't find their company name listed they said "oh you wouldn't find us anywhere because we don't  advertise our business online" - stupid thing to say.  All real companies are listed on the governments website " California Corporation Company search directory Portal Search" even LLC's  if they didn't lie about their identity and gave truthful information about their company.

We didn't give them any information and told them not to call our number again and hung up.

A real investigator ALWAYS has their identification number issued by the state.

A real attorney and a real investigator doesn't withhold or give false information about their identity.  

This must be a collection company that's really bad at what they do.

This number keeps calling me. If I dont answer they wont leave me a voicemail but if I do answer they say they are an "investigator" but wont give me any specific info.

They also call from (818) 660-1327 and (818) 660-1323

Been getting a call for almost 2 weeks from this number.  They just hang up but today they left a msg my number  has been identified on a case they are working on and hung up.
