i wish these people would stop [***] calling me

i also got a call from this number and did not even leave a courtesy message. the area code is from malibu, CA

I received a call at like 6 or 7 am and they didn't leave a message (this was to my cell phone). After I woke up moments later I called back, they answered my call. They said I was to be entered into a sweepstakes because I owned one of the major credit cards around today (Mastercard Visa, American Express, etc etc). I asked them where there got my information, they told me "I already told you sir, from your bank account". I started to tell them about California Law CIVIL CODE SECTION 1798.80-1798.84, also known as "California Shine The Light Law". They hung up on me. I called back 4 times and they continue to hang up on me.


I will be filing as many complaints, legal or otherwise, as possible for a while. The Shine The Light Law may in fact entitle someone to up to $500, or $3,000 if the company does not reply to your disclosure request, or if they intentionally do not comply with your request. The company may also be liable to pay for your Lawyer Fees!

I HATE spammers and I HATE telemarketers. As on of the previous posters stated, I smell a scam.

I received a call from them and had extra time so I went through the process. They asked me all kinds of questions, and I gave them some real, some fake info. (I give my address, but my alias, Trixi. I ADORE junk mail. You never know what goodies you might get. I have 'Trixi Notes' as a registered name with the US postal service. It works.) Eventually, after 15 minutes they want credit card info--I asked them to put me on callback.

I'm not stupid enough to give out this info--but I want their semi-free stuff! 7 magazine subscriptions for the price of one? YES!

How do I know they won't max it out?

I recevied a call from this #310-359-8818,But when I answered they hungup. I called them back 12 times and everytime I called They hungup.

Got a call asking for "Rose". Claim they are calling about diabetes and asked if anyone else in the home has diabetes. When I sarcastically said "Not anymore, she died 2 days ago", they said have a great day and hung up. Even though no one has died I hope that will deter some of the calls from these idiots. Executive Boutique is a call center in THE PHILLIPINES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These people are losers who obviously cannot handle a real job.
