Some guy called me to tell me that Socal Edison was about to turn off my power for non-payment.  They had my home address but not my name and said I needed to call the SCE main number and pay my bill immediately as someone was on their way to my home to disconnect my electricity.  This is the number that they gave for SCE (877) 876-0441, which is not the SCE customer service number.  I'm not delinquent on my bill nor is SCE disconnecting anyone during covid.

They called my number twice. Michael Cruz and John Silva lol. Don't give them any information. They are scammers.

Scam saying that SCE was about to turn off my electricity. I told the guy he may want to get a more honest job and that I knew it was a scam.

Same Scammer called us. I called him out. He tried to play it off. DO NOT fall for this FRAUD. SCE should make it easier to report  these scammers. He stated his name was James Maxwell.  I don't know how these people sleep at night.

Called my place of work, told me he was from Edison and that the business I worked for was delinquent on their electricity bill. He proceeded to tell me the power was going to be turned off within the hour if he didn't recieve payment. So I said, "Cool. Sounds like I get to go home early." Hung up. Power didn't turn off obviously and idk how this many people have reported this scam and he's STILL calling people.
