- frankthis number called me, I don't know anyone from California, please stop this number from calling me
- Irritated Call RecipientAccording to whocalled.us, this is from Giovine Capital Group, Llc... Supposedly, they are an investment firm, but according to findthebest.com, they only actually manage 3 accounts. Sounds pretty fly-by-night/sketchy to me. I would avoid them at all costs.

- SaraGot a call today around 1115am but wasn't near by to answer. They did not leave a message.
- curt| 4 repliesCalled from Santa Monica California offering to give a lower interest rate on a credit card. It was a robo called message. Definate SCAM!

http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ - Dana L. replies to curt| 1 replyI answered the call because I have lots of friends in the 310 area and my own cell number has a 310 area code. The phone tree suggested I press 1 to speak to a representative and 2 to stop future calls. I should have done the latter. Instead, I pressed 1 and got a rather breezy type on the phone who spoke way too fast, also about lowering my credit card interest rate. I asked which company he represented, which bank? He repeated "Credit Card Services" and I insisted "Which bank?" He then said Bank of America. I said I do no business with BofA and have no accounts with them. Also, how did he get my cell phone number? I am on a do not call list etc.
He asked "Do you have Chase cards? I said yes. Do you have balances over $3,000. I said no, I pay off my balances at the end of the billing cycle. He hung up on me. I then called Chase and the customer service rep told me that these are scammers; they don't represent BofA, either. They are just fishing for information. Folks, do not volunteer any information. Do not pick up the phone and if you do, press 2. Hopefully, I have rid myself of these people. - Dana L. replies to TamianthAwesome advice. Thank you!
- MarianneI got a call from them today. I wasn't near my phone and didn't answer. Mistakenly before I googled the number called them back, they then called me 6 times all repeated. I called Verison and people in my area had been reporting the same thing.
SCAM. Do not answer, do not call back. - M DijonGot call today from the same # since I just got a prepaid card I wondered about it because I had to register the card online I did have to put my phone # in.(BTW was a Walmart money card). Odd.... anyway I selected option 2 some hairball answers I repeated several times what card were they referring to. He hung up. Quickly ....

- JonasI hate these calls. I listened to the whole thing before I could press 2 to be taken off the list. We'll see if it actually works.

- lizDo not call
- Dave in HoustonPhone spam. Ignore.
I received a call from this number. Against all sound judgment I answered the call and got a recorded message to stand by for an issue with an unnamed credit card. The call was then disconnected. Curious, I called back and got a message the number is not working.
Ignore this. - Casper| 1 replyPressing 2 does not work! They still call back! I called them back about 15 minutes after I got their call and it said the number was no longer in service. Wierd!!
- Caller: Credit card services
- CelticDragon replies to CasperThat is because by pressing '2', you've now marked your line as a 'live' number
- Blizzard BabeI forgot my cell phone at home so I couldn't take this call. But, like all calls I receive from people I don' know, I don't answer. That's what voice mail is for. If it's important the caller will leave a message. The caller did not leave a message, ergo...
- StaceyI got a call from this # today but was not able to answer. I checked this website & glad I did. Thank you all for posting about these scammers...
- Caller: Scammers
- LizJust received a call from that number that you're all talking about. Luckily, did not pick up. Blocked the number. Thanks for posting your feedback!!
- PatDo not give your any info!!! Ask questions first to verify with anybody calling about your finances. If it's sounds fishy it probably is! The guy started saying I was paying more than 10% in interest and that my credit card balances were over $3000. I asked him what card he was referring to and he said my Visa (which has a $500 limit) and my MasterCard (which is just a debit card). That was my first red flag. I repeatedly asked him with what banks my card or cards were affiliated and he just kept saying he could tell me my card balances and last minimum payments. This is definitely a scam and I'm just glad I knew the right questions to ask!
- celsoReceived this call today with a recording asking if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rates. I hung up.
