Didn't answer - left message about lowering my interest rate on my credit card

No message left.

Typical... Many calls (3 yesterday, 1 today) but left no message.  The INTELIUS Search site says the number is from a cell phone and registered to "CAP Grp Giovine" with no address or any other legit info.  This usually means a scam caller.

received a call that they can lower my interest rate on my visa or mastercard to 6%, I asked if they could verify my card #, man said if you tell me what bank I can tell you the #, told the man I don't have the card on me.  Asked for his telephone # and said I would call him back later.....he hung up.  SCAM

I just receved a call, same thing lower interest rate.  Funny thing, I have no credit cards.  When asking what credit card this was in reference to, he hung up on me.

Answered and no response.  So I left the line open and after about 15 seconds it disconnected.

This number called me, but I didn't pick up in time. Never left a voice mail, but when I tried calling back it said the number was no longer in service. Very odd.

Same thing as most people. Received call but I didn't pick up. I tried to call number back but it's disconnected. Happened at 2:35 p.m. EST

The same number called me while i was already on another call. So i NEVER bothered to answer it. I just HUNG up on that number. That to me is the best way of getting rid of prime credit card scams. I DON'T Answer numbers I don't know. JUST for that purpose. Not even if it has the same area code as me.

Harrasing phone calls . Misdemeanor in the State of Florida . Will be filing a report and following up with the state attorney

Got call from this number. Was told they could lower my interest rates on my credit cards. Figured to have a bit of fun with them.  Said:. ''You can get lower interest rates on all my credit cards. The AmEx, The BofA, and my Mastercards?"  was told; Yes sir!  We can get you rates of between 4.5 to 6% on each.
ans; ''Ok, Which card do you want to start with?''  He said. "Lets start with the American Express. We have that information,  simply need to verify your account number and SSN to be certain we are talking to the right person''  ans:  ''Makes sense to me for my protection''.  Ok, you give me the first, third, fifth, and last number of my AmEx card and I will verify the rest - - - - Got an "EFF YOU"" and a hangup.  Rather doubt they will call me back >G<

Card services crap again. Middle Eastern accent claiming to be calling from California with Bank Of America, and claims he can see my credit card history, payments, card numbers, etc........ Hung up when he realized I started taping him. Called the number and it's disconnected. Oh big shocker. Wonder if BOA knows the scammers are using their name now. Spoofed number!!
