get calls almost every  day ,I never answer and they do not leave any messages.

The methodology they use sucks, done & done. I am fortunate to only ever give out my Google Voice phone number which mean no call can annoy me beyond the very first call if I choose to block it, and that even includes anonymous and caller-id blocked calls because Google Voice is THAT empowering. One call, and blocked forever after and in the case of THIS particular number, it never rang through even on their first attempt. Google Voice users have identified that number as spam so often already that even their first call to my Google Voice number landed in the spam folder w/o ever ringing through. Now that I see it in my spam folder I choose to block that number altogether and it will be transparent to me in the future and on their end they get the "you have reached a number which has been disconnected or is no longer in service". Done & done. Google Voice gives total control back to the user/consumer. If I don't want to totally block a number I can automatically send just that number to voice mail and set a customized voice mail greeting specific to just that number, and no other caller hears that specific voice mail greeting. If I want to pick the call up and automatically record the conversation I press '4', and Google records it and e-mails me the wav file after.

This number calls constantly and doesn't leave a message. It's very distracting and harassing. Luckily I have an app that blocks unwanted calls.

I called the number back and was given an option to be removed from the call list. It did not take bit a few seconds.

Called not speaking, held on until my answer machine disconnected the call.

According to their Facebook it looks like they also have the LA Philharmonic as a client. Probably selling ticket subscriptions to concerts. I also see International Fund for Animal Welfare, Carnegie Hall, and the Florida Orchestra. So, I assume a lot of the calls are semi-legit sales calls. I know they call me because I've purchased multiple concert tickets to the Hollywood Bowl every year.

Tried getting my name removed weeks ago.  Still getting several calls a week, sometimes two or three in a day!

Scammers do not remove names, what with being crooks and all.  Ignore and block the calls.

The DNC is not a call blocker.   Illegal callers - criminals - don't care about the DNC.  Since the caller is a crook, they do not care about your "request to be removed" - to them, it is a confirmation that they have reached a working number that is answered by a person.  So too the bs about press 5 to remove, that is meaningless other than proving to the scammer that they have reached a working number.

Many of these calls are from illegal call centers and are not even located in the western hemisphere.  Being that they are criminals, they don't really obey the law in any case.   Some people like call blockers or call blocking systems.  Legal remedies are available to you, you will need to invest your time and some money, but you might get some satisfaction.

Here is a good guideline:  Don't answer unknown callers from unknown numbers.  Block them with a call blocker, a blocking app or sometimes with your phone carrier.  You need to take steps to protect yourself.  Contact your State and Fed reps to push for enforcement.

Our 360 area code landline's Caller ID showed "SD&A Teleserv." We screen all our calls now because there are so many roboscammers. So we don't know what they were "selling." If a person starts to leave a voice message, we do pick up and speak to them. Not happy having to screen for calls from Real People We Know.
