Got a text, complete with typos, with a scam URL trying to make me think I won a Best Buy contest.

Got call saying I won a gift card from best buy I called and got no answer it was a scam

Just received a text message from this number claiming I just won a $1000 best buy card......and my boyfriend received the same message 30 mins before I did. Been hearing of a particular scam with Walmart gift cards.....please be careful not to fall for these scams.

Got a text message  saying I won $1000 Best Buy card.  I've have never shopped at Best Buy in person or online because of their atrocious customer service reviews.  I'm thinking no legitimate company would send a text message at 4:11 a.m.  I am definitely not responding & adding to my blocked numbers list.  Thanks for the info 800 notes.

Received the same text as everyone else posting here, and at 4:00 in the morning.   Glad I Googled it and found this website!!!

Just received the same BESTBUY SCAM.  Glad I found this on the web before I responded.

Received a text this morning stating that "Your entry last month has WON! Goto http://www.bestbuy.com.wgmc.biz/?claimid=912 abd enter your winning code: 3333 to claim your Free $1,000 Bestbuy Giftcard".  At first glance it looks like a legitimate web address, but no major chain company ends their address with .biz.  Don't fall for this scam.
