Received a text message from this number stating that my recent entry for a contest won, and to go to a particular web site and enter the winning code number 6655  to claim a $1,000.00 Best Buy gift card. Does anyone out there have any information regarding this? I smell a scam. I haven't entered a contest in the last 20 years that I know of. Thanks

Got the same message as the other person, "you won a $1000 best buy gift card" scam.

I received the same message.  I haven't been to Best Buy for about a year--I like the store--but obviously hadn't entered a contest in the past month, so wondered about that...  Wonder how they got my phone number.  Too bad too, cause I could have been happy to use a $1000 gift card, ohh well... I don't give my e-mail or password to unknown sources, so glad I didn't click on anything.

I onder if this is hitting just certain carriers.  I am tracfone.prepaid  when I send pic texts to my e mail they come up AT&T  so tracfone (atleast in my area)  works off AT&T cell towers.   for those ho read this please reply as to ho your service provider is

who is your cell provider?  I am wonderng if it is only certain carriers.   Since all carriers have their own designated prefixes

I received a fake message from this number  And I have to pay for messages, so this type of unauthorized advertising really irritates me.

that text spam trash is the 1st one I received on the 29th of april.
