I got the same text saying I wont $1,000. Says to claim it at a website for "6655". How the heck did they get my number.

I got this text at 1am last night (4/29), and am not happy. Mother (same family plan) got the same text, is going into Best Buy to demand the gift card, though ^^;

Definitely a fraud based on all of your comments. I did check the Best Buy website and saw nothing about this.

This phone number came up 1-816-4898576 and I got this text message.

I never have used Best Buy and never will.

I got a text from this number on 4/29 claiming "Your entry last month has WON!! Goto http:www.best-buy.com.wgmc.biz/?claimid=512 and enter your Winning Code:3333 to claim your free $1000 BestBuy GiftCard!"  I know I did not enter such a contest and did not go to that website.

I got the same message on my phone but it came from +17168035702. I don't know how they got my cell phone number.

i have won for 1000.00gift card

Got the same Best Buy $1000 text, went to the url, entered the 4-digit number (like an idiot) and all of a sudden I'm getting like 35 spam emails a day, all from different addresses, but all with a similar format.
Entourage's spam filter recognizes them as junk, but I don't have a clue how to stop them. Any ideas?
I'm on a mac, if that matters.
