I too have received a call from this number.  A guy stating that he is Jonathan Miller asking for the owner, from what sounded like Imperial Bag.  Extremely rude short responses.  Did not give me the opportunity to ask to have our number removed.  Seriously, if I spoke to anyone the way he spoke to me, I'd be without a job!  There has to be a better way to do away with these unsolicited calls.  We are also on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  UGH!

Computer program designed to pick-up on key words provided by you the receiver of the unwanted call.

My interaction was something like this:

Me:       Hello
Voice:    Hello, may I speak with the owner please
Me:       What about?
Voice:    Hey, how you doing?
Me:       Long belch into the phone (yah, I can do that on command).
Voice:    I'm sorry, I didn't get that.
Me:       Second belch
Voice:    Starts to make coughing noises. "Sorry, I'm just getting over a cold"
Me:       Make coughing noises myself.
Voice:    No problem, good bye.

After some extensive research and multiple calls it appears this number is being serviced through (the carrier) www.globalpops.com 866-799-4767.  I contacted a technical service representative who made an internal report and was forwarding my concerns (as I also referenced this blog listing for his report), to the customer.  Apparently this is one of their VOIP clients.  If you call them, make sure you provide them with your first name, number(s) called, and precise time of the call.

I found a helpful site which may assist us all in the beginning stages of locating and determining such annoying unproductive low life scum bags (imagine how proud their parents must be of them):  www.FoneFinder.net ..cross reference what you find through your search engines and contact either their annoyance call department or a customer service agent, politely explain the harassing calls and inquire if they are the carrier (that of which FoneFinder.net displayed), the info may be out of date, so be prepared to make some more calls.  I have found kindness goes a long way those who answer phone calls.  Usually the ethical organizations will direct you as to who their system shows is the current carrier.  Follow the leads and you should be able to find out exactly as I did.

Apparently the FCC, local law enforcement, federal enforcement agencies are over loaded because none of them have been willing to assist me, like you all, in giving us a name and address of the responsible party.  Or then, how simple we could take them to court in violating the TCPA rules and regulations ~ $500-$1500 per occurrence.

Receive  calls  every couple days from 312-219-6764  asking to speak to the owner.

"May I speak with the owner."

"Owner of what?"

"Oh, I'm sorry."

It doesn't have to be complicated.

Please remove from the list this number. It looks this is scam call demend owner of the business.

Called then hung up.

Recieved calls just like everyone else and stated that they wanted to speak to the owner and could not tell me why for security reasons...

Ha ha ha, the chat bots are now making robo calls. Amusing, but still illegal.

Seems the Teleleeches are going full tilt as I getting calls from multiple telemarketers this past week on my business/home/cell phones.

Called and asked to speak to the owner please. I know where this is going so I hung up then blocked.

SCAMMERS and they dont quit...time for the feds to shut these bjerks down!

Forein person wanted to check my computer... wanted me to turn on my computer and he would walk me step by step regarding something about my Icons and Windows...... Told him to bug off because nothing was wrong with my computer !!

I get this number calling my business on occasion.  I normally understand telemarketing is a fact of life and especially owning a business. However, this is a computer acting as a real person, it's extremely obnoxious and I can't believe this would make anyone want to pursue what they are selling.

Computer animated voice! Asking for the owner and then the manager and then hangs up when denied.

Receive a call  10/31/2013  from 312-219-6764  asking to "speak with the owner".  SALES CALL !  for a business loan ?????

answering machine picks up ...... no one on the other end ..... just silence .... eventually hangs up

They ask to speak to owner, i say may i take a message, they sas no and hang up they are very rude.

Received the call for the first time. Same as everyone else...said it was Jonathon Miller from Imperial Bank, asked to speak to the owner, said for security reasons they could only tell him what the call is regarding. I put him on hold and Googled the number / name / business and came across here. They just hung up while on hold.  Reporting to the National Do Not Call List as well (though it seems they haven't done a great job in ending this telemarketing company from making calls to people on the list).
