312-238-9403 - This number is a SCAM!

Just received a TXT Message on my cell phone from 1010100001 stating: "FRM:JEFFERSONFINANCIAL MSG:JEFFERSON FINANCIAL NOTICE. Unusual activity - Call NOW at 1-(312) 238-9403"

Real funny, seeing as how I don't even have an account with Jefferson Financial. Will be reporting this directly to them via their website. Just a heads up for others out there.

Got the identical text message "Unusual account activity" from Jefferson Financial.  Lowlife scammers and pfishers obviously.  Do not respond to them.

I did too!!  I called the number and an automated answering to enter my credit or debit card.   Yeah right!!!

Thanks for posting! I got the exact same message and also suspected a scam. I sure hope that these "low-life scum of the earth mf'ers" get caught and are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I got the same text message also.  Unusual activity on your account from Jefferson Financial.  I hope no one falls for the scam.

I got the same text message from 1010100001 on my cell phone with the same phone number with the same recorded message. What was surprising is that when I got home I had the same message on my landline left at the same time that afternoon. Whoever this jerk is got access to both my lines simultaneously. Beware.

I also got 4 of the same Text message. Plus a call, with automated voice. Two of the Text messages came from the 312-238-9403.. the others from 817-405-2612 and 845-943-5627.  All from Jefferson Financial.

888-691-3145 - Received yet ANOTHER Scam Text Message supposedly from JEFFERSON FINANCIAL, stating "MSG:JEFFERSON FINANCIAL - Notice. Unusual activity - Call us now at 1-(888)691-3145". I do NOT have an account with them, so I know it's a SCAM! This time the text message came from 1010100002 - instead of 1010100001, and the number listed to call is 888-691-3145, instead of 312-238-9403 like last time. I WILL be reporting this number and text message to AT&T, the FTC, and Jefferson Financial as well.

They are also using other phone numbers.  Don't call any of them.  Last month the number was 312-238-9403, this month the number is 740-490-0243.  If you get any of these messages, call the FTC at 877-382-4357 and make fraud complaint.
