no message and when i called back number with mine blocked, they answered, said nothing and hung up!  Can you say "bill collector". :)

I get at least one or two of these every day, usually before I arrive in the morning. They leave no message. Also calls from 312-294-3512 and 312-294-3514. No answer if I call back. Don't think it's a bill collector because I don't have unpaid bills and it's a call to my office phone. More likely a telemarketer.

I honestly think this is for the Chicago Symphany Orchestra (CSO) where they try to get you to sign up for upcoming performances and buy package deals.

It's the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. I just called back the number about 6 times in a row before it finally rang long enough and someone answered. (Not sure if the line had to open up or what.) In any case, I was able to tell them I wanted to be removed from their call list, and they said ok. We'll see if it worked or not..

This number and other variations of it have been calling me on and off for maybe over a month now.  I never pick up because the numbers seem shady and they never leave a message so I can only assume that they are indeed shady.  There have also been times when I called those numbers back and no one ever picks up or if they do, they immediately hang up so I can't tell them to stop calling me.

If this is really the CSO, then they are scum!  I used to get calls from them and I always said I do not have money to donate (this was around the time a couple years ago when I had been laid off and was looking for new work), what makes them think that hassling me will make me change my mind?  At this point, I do have money to spare but it sure isn't going to a bunch of creeps that can't even leave a message or say who they are!  They should hassle the rich folks that voted for Romney or someone, people who actually have lots of extra disposable income to give to the CSO!  As much as I like the actual CSO, the way their organization hassles people really stains their image.

I, too, have gotten similar calls from a similar number, which is why I looked it up online and stumbled on this string. If it IS the CSO, please be gentle. My son is a telemarketer for the CSO (and a music student at a local college) and he and his fellow CSO telemarketers are very dedicated and work hard and believe in the symphony. I believe they call anyone who has bought tickets to the symphony.  Perhaps the organization should alter its method, but it is a worthy organization and the callers have no idea if you are poor, out of work or struggling. Many of them are, too, and are doing this job as well as they can for not a ton of pay. Thanks for reading.

Get a life you weirdo. People just want to know who the number belongs to, not your life story or your political opinions opinions.

It's the fund raising arm of the Chicago Sympathy Orchestra.

Received a call from this number, did not pick up, no message left.  Another number from another scammer, it seems like.  If you can help it, never answer a call from a number you don't recognize.  They do stop calling, eventually... but new numbers will pop up.
