I called the number back 3 times. 1. Busy signal 2. And 3. Bad static.

I did get a phone call from this number, but since I did not recognize it, I did not answer!

Have been called by this number several times over the past weeks.. They are peddling health insurance. I listened to the message which lasted about 1-2 minutes. Then there was an option of pressing (1) for more information OR (2) to be removed from the list. I will post a followup if they contact me again....

Called us at 9am on a Sunday morning. I did not answer.

Got the call - blocked the call.  

I have a Uniden desk phone that blocks 20 numbers - that simply not enough in today's world.

Recently, I purchased the Digitone call blocker.  Put it into service 5/3/13.  That day, it blocked 2 telemarketers, including this number.  BTW, this Digitone blocker can block entire area codes.  I have not yet learned all the features but this device looks very promising.

"Merchant Cash Advance" scumbag scammers that won't take your number off their list - just hang up on you and change the number they are calling from.

Called at home by 312-340-5535, no callerid shown. I did not answer and they left no message. This was just minutes after being called by telemarketers from 224-649-5534 and 213-747-6336. Coincidence? I doubt it. I wish they would all follow the legally required national do-not-call registry.

Got call, answered, said 'Hello' several times, not a single sound from the other end, so I hang up.

Picked up and after 10 seconds, click.

312-340-5535 - Just another fraudulent loan company using an illegal robo-dialer to make illegal loan scam telemarketing phone calls. Seems this company doesn't follow the Federal Laws regarding the DNC list. Will be reporting this call directly to the FCC.gov website.

Never use the "press 1 to be removed" option!
All it does is confirm that your number actually works, which makes it even more valuable.
Then it gets sold to other scam callers.

Best bet is to report it IF your number is registered:

And most phones have a BLOCK/Auto-REJECT feature. Use it.
It's made my life much more peaceful! :)
