Another scammer wanting to "lower my electric rate".

I am tired of getting these dumb phone calls.  I NEVER answer the phone anymore because of this type of call.  Can't someone do something about this?  I entered my number on the "Do Not Call" service but I am still getting these darn calls.  HELP

came up on caller id as "energy service".  get lots of these calls because local electric supplier rates are going up.  just another telemarketer trying to rope the gullible into changing their electric supplier.  what they don't tell you is that their rates go up too--sometimes higher than the main supplier in the area.

Came up Energy Service.  Had my address.  I did ask if this was a legal call and they said yes because I was eligible for a discount.   When they wanted my ComEd account number I refused to give it -- said if you are calling from ComEd you should have it.  The guy then said we couldn't go any further.  

Your electricity bills will necessarily skyrocket. BO

Exactly! Even though he outright said it and it's happening there are still those blind enough to follow this guy as a messiah. I've noticed too that scams have exploded during this guy's tenure.

Same number, same scam as July 21 post.  This one 8-14.  Internet has been down and AT&T could not get here to fix it for ten days.  Then I had to catch up on projects.
