Five calls since Wednesday morning. No voicemail messages left. If it's the Chicago Tribune, I already have a subscription on EZ Pay.

This robo caller keeps calling my number and won’t stop. Doesn’t leave a message. When I answer, dead silence. I stopped answering. When I call the number back, the number is not in service. I’m fed up… stop calling me!!!

Has been calling my phone sometimes multiple times per day since Monday? Though maybe someone was trying to reach me but no voicemails were left and based on what I’ve read here the calls are silent

Claimed to be the Chicago Tribune and offered me $2 for six months. Hung up on me when I said I don't do impulse purchases.

Has called me multiple times today and yesterday… no voicemail left.

3-4-2024 4.20pm Calller identified himself as Christian, he sounded nervous, he said he was calling about my Chicago Tribune subscription, it has expired... I said Stop and hung up becuase I have never had a CT subscription. Blocked.

Said she was from Chicago tribune. Offer me digital plan for $3  for a year.. Lol ya sure. I was a trib subscriber for over 20 years. This is not their number and never ever that cheap.

Constant calls with no voicemail. I answered and said I know this is a scam and please stop. The guy just said “this isn’t a scam but I’ll remove you now!” We will see if that’s true lol

Wow! $99 a week for two issues of the newspaper? No wonder nobody's buying it.

Two calls Wednesday, one call Thursday, one call Friday. Haven't answered but haven't received any voicemails. I did recently cancel my Trib subscription but based on everyone else, seems like a scam. Clearly the Trib got their records hacked or something.

I got a call from this number last night. Said it was Chicago Tribune offering $3 for all-digital access for one year. I signed up. I didn't receive a confirmation email and when I logged into CT online today, no subscription. I called CT and asked, and they said it is *not a scam*. They have my subscription starting tomorrow. For real.

Annoying as heck.  Sudden endless calls with no voice messages left. If you hit screen call when they're dialing in, they hang up.  I called back and heard an automated voice saying Chicago Tribune. They need a lawsuit started for undue harassment.  Ridiculous!!!

They need a lawsuit because you don't want to tell them to stop calling you?

+1 (312) 598-8625- This phone number called me claiming to be the Chicago Tribune and said my “credit card was declining, perhaps I changed cards or it expired, and asked if I could update my payment method with her to prevent losing service.” She then asked me if my address was at P.O. Box #### (it wasn’t). When I said that wasn’t my address, she then proceeded to ask me what my current address was to “update my profile information.”

I thanked her for notifying me that my card wasn’t working but I wasn’t going to give her my address or personal info and that I could easily just update my card on my own profile through the Chicago Tribune app. Do not fall for these scams trying to take your personal and financial info!

I thought I fell to the scam. Gave them my credit card and saw these messages so I called their main number on their website, and turns out it is legit. It's annoying how much they call, but I guess journalism is not doing so well.
