called supposedly from a different state before 8:30 in the morning and didn't leave a message

Since calls legally be made from 8 am to 9 pm your time per Federal Law, that call was legally made.  Since you don't know what the call was about then nothing more can be said about it.

Caller ID "CHICGO IL", called at 6:00 CST and left long blank message. Other forums have said it is a robodialer.

Received a call from312-766-3299 at 2:20 a.m.  Woke me up in the middle of the night saying my identity had been stolen.  Press 1 for connection to operator.

Sure we can say something about these stupid invasive calls.   Calls that are made to deceive, scam or somehow steal should be prohibited.   Those that make them should be penalized.   When I work all nite and one of these fools interrupts my sleep for their own benefit is a pain in the [***] and those numbers should be tracked and blocked by our phone provider.
So take you legal call statement and put it where it belongs.   We all know these numbers are fake and not from our area code and more than likely not from this country.   Most are computer generated.    If anyone answers a number they don’t recognize they are setting themselves up to be scammed.

Went to voicemail and said " Switches from, from id doubt me. Your identity was recently used to log in to massachusetts de La if this was an authorized use, then please press one for yes or press 2 for now. But the caller ID was Chicago IL. Considering all the news saying our personal data is now in the hands of DOGE idiots, I guess we can expect more calls like this. Thank you Trumpmusk...

This is from ID.me calling, not scam call.

I received a call from this number and it was a legitimate call from id.me. I had just logged on and used ID.me as identification on another website. So it was a legitimate call to verify the login was valid.

Just an update for my previous message. When I do an AI search on the number related to id.me I'm told it's not associated with id.me. But I had logged into a legitimate government site with id.me and that immediately triggered the call. So it seems legit but I would just ignore the calls. I don't know how a scammer could intercept that but maybe they have a way of doing it. If you trust Google AI, the number is not associated with id.me.
