YES I did infact receive a txt from this person offering to pay full price for my car I had advertised and wanted my paypal info and were going to send me the funds thru there and would have someone else pick up my car, bc they said they were located in new York, but 312 is a Chicago area code... I told them to get lost, I smelled a scam big time!! beware of this number!!!!

Contacted with repetitive text messaging. Told him to kiss my a-- and gave this link.

Just received a text asking about a car I have for sale.

"Do this item still available for sale?1968 Ford Mustang - Price: 7500 OBO"

Anytime there is bad grammar requesting info on my car or an out of town area code I become wary of it being a scam. Thank goodness for websites like these that people can post on to warn others.

Also got a text from this number after posting on craigslist. I called back and left msg. to call me. Sounds like a scam..6-19-2013

I recieved a message from this numer  after I posted on craigslist, wanting my address to send a check usps and pick up my car later, was nervous abour a scam and found this site. Thanks for the warning guys!!

Just got the same text from this creeper after my car was listed on craigslist for a day. text read "Hello my name is Kelvin Dray and good to hear back from you... " then he goes on to say he will mail the check USPS but needs my full name and address... whole text creeped me out thank god for this site thanks for all who wrote I know now to tell this guy to [***]

This same person contacted me and said they wanted my vehicle posted on Craigslist and he said he would send me a check usps and would arrange for pick up.  I looked it up on here thank you for who ever shared this because I was told he could stop the check and get your bank information.

He sent me the same message bout being deployed ..... He also sent me The check for twelve fifty more then my asking price . said I'm spice to give it to his shipper when he comes to pick up the ac .  the address on envelope is fake . the check is a company check . who pays 1500 for an ac u can buy at the store for four hundred . then wants u to cash check n when it clears give twelve to sumone else to ship it ....... I'm not sure he realizes it screams money loitering . like he is scamming the company he works for ....  Its just weird to me I gave a copy of all text and the check to my parole officer. He must be dumb .

Apparently the man has an app to change his number . I just called the company the check came from this man apparently stole a bunch of checks n it is a closed account .... So he is sending checks out that are pre closed And using different numbers last known number is 4222423863

Same message about being in the military.  Told me to DEPOSIT the cashier's check, not cash it.  This didn't make sense!  Check was for wrong amount.  phone number now 312-413-6565.
