Legit survey. No sales. CDC wants Vac and Imm from parents of small children. Confirm it yourself: either google "CDC calls from Chicago" or visit the site - https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/nis/participant/faqs.html  - The phone number 312-871-4241 is listed. You're asked to return the call from the same number you received the message. 👍

It was the CDC immunization survey, a computer randomly selects people to call and to ask to participate in the survey. It isnt a scam, and they weren't trying to get your info for malicious purposes

    Unknown Number
They called me 3 times, the first was asking about the children between the ages of 17 months and 4 years in my household, then asking questions about me. They said to call them back later and when I never did they called me back. I ignored it and they called again.

call came in on my cell phone as 312 871 4241 caller  id just showed chicago illinois, person on phone claimed to be Center for Disease Control and Prevention... told them not to call my # hung up on them and blocked the call.  this is a scam.  Gov. official numbers, will not show up in this manner, on caller id, nor will people calling, not notified you immediately that they are with a specific agency, and where they are out of, what office, Gov. and or State.  these Generically named things are scams.

Cell rings, unfamiliar no., I do not answer but research no. Comes up CDC  it is Sunday P.M. And we have registered with the Do Not Call list. The same scenario has happened several times recently but I do not know  if it is same no. If call is random, I am extremely lucky, unlucky!

Since this is a a survey call, it is not covered by the DNC rules so is not required to screen against the list before calling.

No one should ever call people asking if there are "children between the age of 12 months and 4 years staying or living in this household."

In light of what is happening across the Nation, this is extremely disturbing and should be looked into and stopped!

Looked up this ph#, refers to CDC but it has to be a voice recording scam based on y'alls info here on good Ole 800notes. Luv y'alls. What CDC Chicago offices have to do with a state& city so so very far away I don't know...we have our own CDC office right down the street, LOL!!! Maybe the ph# is legit but spoofed. A SCAM for sure! Most via Florida!

Received call with recording stating that the call is related to a survey about childhood immunizations for CDC. A number was provided to call back to participate in survey. I was leary but also curious, so I did call. Not the number they asked me to call, but instead the actual number on my ID. The lady who answered my call was pleasant and only asked two questions. The first was if there are any children 6 months to 4 years of age in the household and the second question was if anyone under the age of 18 resided in household. My answers were an honest no and the survey ended.  Now had my answers been yes the survey may have been longer. No personal information was requested so I feel this call may be legitimate. It also matches up with the CDC website.
