(Southern Asian accent) "good afternoon I sell you electricity".

(Me in me Texas drawl) "Son, you got the wrong number".

about electricity. Told him I was not with TXU wanted me to tell him what company I was with. I told him no and to remove me from his call list. He kept trying to find out who my provider was. I let him know I was about to hang up.....and I did.

I didn't make it to the phone on time.  No message left.

Rang just enough to pop up on the display of my cellphone before they bailed (without going to VM)

Caller called and asked me to give him the information to which provider our business got electricity from so they can offer us discounted rates. I informed him that I was not authorized to give that information . He said that his name was Jobe and he does understand that but he wants to be my friend and he called back 3 more times and I had to keep hanging up on him .

As always, I let the call go to voicemail, as I don't know anyone in Chicago. Most times these callers/robo-callers don't leave a message, but this one did. It was an automated female voice, and I missed the first lines, but it sounded like they wanted to provide my phone, television, and internet services, and if I wanted to get a better rate, I should press a number. And there the message ended.

Scumbag telemarketers!

I live in Texas and no not a person in Chicago.  From reading the other posting I am sure that I have nothing kind to say to this random calling ding dong.
