This is a total scam

Your money is gone.   I assume you paid with a Green Dot money pak.  About all you can do is go back to the Green dot people and make a complaint for fraud.  These people are most likely Indian loan scammers.

It is against the law for lenders to request upfront money for a loan in most states.  See below:

6.    If you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either a.  threatening you or b.  offering you something, you know it’s a scam and you should hang up immediately.
7.    These people are predators, the calls are not random, they have information that they have bought from various sources and know your financial history.  If you have ever taken out a pay-day loan, they have all your information.  They know who they are calling.  They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the immigrant community. Also,  those who might be in financial difficulty.

Also, the Indian accent is a dead giveaway of a scam.

Thank you this is hard to hear an accept but I knew it yesterday walking out of the western union store I only hoped it was not so til I see the number Is no longer working lesson learned

These scammers are still about, they have contacted vulnerable elders in the UK during covid-19 pandemic, reverted their tactics to relinquishing rights to shares and for shareholder to release funds in order to benefit from healthy return.......be careful and report if contacted!
