CID says "unavailable", no message.

Answered the call as I was expecting a call from this Chicago area code, CID reads "Illinois Call", there was someone/thing on the line but no response to my greeting, then a moment later the line disconnected.

I received the same call at the same time last year. What I do when I do not know who is calling I *67 from my cell phone. The call is from (allegedly) the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police. My last encounter was as follows: Will you donate X amount of money? When you say no he incrementally drops the requested donation amount. As he prattles on, I hang up.

Called yesterday, again today, Blocked number.

312-940-6308 just called the landline. The Caller ID showed V2221222390047604606. I answered it knowing that it was a scam call. I said, "Hello", and there was dead air for about 5 seconds. Then there was as static burst and a male voice saying "Hello" just as I was hanging up, saying loud enough for him to hear, "There's nobody on the line."

Received a call on 12/22/2016 at 11:55 AM.  Did not leave voice mail.  Caller ID shows, "Chicago IL."

Robocall. No name on CID.

312-940-6308 is being used by the Illinois Association
of Chiefs of Police.

They have been pestering me with their anonymous
calls for the last two or three months.

I really do not understand callers like these
who avoid displaying the names of their companies
or organizations.  They seem to believe that
by ambushing you they increase their chances.

Rec'd call Tuesday 12.27. I initially didn't answer, dialed *67 and was told this was not a valid number. I called it and some guy answered Illinois Association of Chief's of Police. I hung up. I won't give up because they've called FIVE times. I e-mailed the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police in Springfield & asked what was going on since I was told by *67 that there was no such valid number. Caller ID shows V2271100060047614851, If this is truly legit, they won't get any money from me ever. I also blocked the number finally. I would like some answers.

I believe this is collusion crime with city of Chicago or they finance departments has been hacked
30 seconds after paying an online ticket to cook county online I received a call wanting to know if I would give police more money
It's a hacked website or Chicago crime in cook county as usual
