Displays as WCF (have a lot of blocked #'s for these [***]), doesn't leave message, added to blocklist

Left a robo message threshing to take 299.00 out of my bank account if I didn’t call them back.

Calls come at random times day and night.  No message is ever left.  I don't answer calls that cannot be recognized.  To date, have only received calls on home land line, no cellular calls.

This number 312-940-7623 with caller name "WCF" attempted to call me earlier this morning.  Since I have blocked this entire area code, the call did not ring through, but showed up on caller ID.  (WCF have been letters used in the past by the Women's Cancer Fund, a notorious scam charity.)  An internet search shows that this number has been identified as a robocaller, and is being blocked, by a well-known independent robotic call blocking service, which currently rates this number's activity level as "severe".

2.27.19 @ 1:53 PM-- "WCF" (312-940-7623)-- SCAMMER using a spoofed name and number (Chicago, IL area code).  This name, "WCF", has also shown on the Caller ID with a different number.

I have been receiving the WCF calls from 1-312-940-7623. They are quite persistent, as I have been noticing  "WCF" on our caller id (landline) for at least two weeks.  Have not been answering, and add to call block, but they continue to call in different number iterations.  So, we continue to add each one to call block.  A message is never left on our voicemail . . . extremely annoying. Looking forward to eventual relief from the repeated calls.

Well, ATT may have blocked "WCF" from using 312-500-7670. but now they are using this number, and the CID says "CHICGOZ01". Same scam with a new number
