When answering the call, the phone is silent.   The numbers have been varied and constant.  They're calling several times per hour, and I am trying to find out who it is to address the issue with DoNotCall.gov (as the number they're calling is registered).

If anyone can find out the origin of the calling, please post it for others so we may take legal action against them for harassing communications.   No one should have to endure 14 calls in one hour!   Ugh.

then if they are legitimate as you say they are, you should have no problem telling us where they are located and what they do.

Very irritating!

I agree with the rest! Total scammers...sometimes they tell you who they are but mostly don't answer all...complete silence... Ask to speak to sup they hang up. Ask to not be called they hang up and call back 12 times in one hour. I'm reporting to FCC...

I went online to search for health insurance.  I called a company I thought was COBRA.  It wasn't and they sold my number.  Within a 2 hour period I receivers 35 phone calls from several "companies" wanting to sell me health insurance.  This was one of the  phone numbers that called me several times.   When I called back they knew my name already and tried to sell me insurance.  When I asked to be taken off the list they hung up on me before I could even finish my sentence. My boss snagged my phone and called back.  She was even annoyed by all of the calls.  She asked to speak to a supervisor.  After getting into it with him the phone was handed off to me.  The first thing the guy said was "oh you got someone to do your dirty work for you, huh?"  I asked him to take my name off the list.  He said "hold on." He then hung up on me.

This number is texting people I know & they wont say why they are texting other numbers asking for me
