caller ID says AACC the lady said she was from asset something or other...told her it was the wrong number...

Did not listen to message.

I just keep getting phone calls from this number:1-313-286-8405
They won't leave a message.

Scam artist. this phone # 313-286-8405 is from a big scam company. Beaware, do not answer this call, If you do good luck. These people rip my brother-in-law. 3132868405 scam scam & scam people.

Lady called asking for "Rubin". Seems to me its a debt collector. AACC  (ASSET ACCEPTANCE CAPITAL CORP.)

They keep on calling my number and ask me for someone that I never heard of. When I tell them that I don't know that person they threaten me. Is there any legal ramification to those harassments??

Yes there is, report them to your state's Attorney General, keep a log of how often they call, and then when they call you again inform them once again that you are not the person they are trying to contact, you do not know who that person is, and you have already filed a complaint.  Most states have laws protecting consumers from this type of harrassment, to the point that the harrasser gets to pay the harrassee. Right now they are calling me and even when I answer there is nobody there, so I have just started hanging up on them.

Very Rude woman asks for name I don't know. Says she is a bill collector. She wont stop calling.

Also claiming to Asset Acceptance also in which I've never heard of them before?

Collection agency. ALWAYS leaves a message on my cell phone. "By continuing to listen to this message you are acknowleging that you are (the person named). Then they say they are a collection agency and to call back. How are you supposed to know what it's about if you aren't the one they are looking for. Then to find out where to call back if it's a wrong call, you have to listen to someone else's personal information. Sounds illegal to me.

For months I have been receiving calls from that number. They never leave a message, but I do not know anyone in the 313 area code (Detroit,MI) very annoying
