They called me as well asking for information when I started asking questions back they hung up

They didn't leave a message. Obviously not a legit call.

Calling for donations for a Veteran non profit

Called asking for donation to veterans non profit.  Wanted to send an envelope.  Hung up.

Called asking for Elmer.  Told them this is a company, they again asked for Elmer. They then asked for the man or woman of the house and I told them this is a company.

Rang twice.  Left no message.

I got a call from thos number, a man asked if the man of the house was there. I replied I was the man of the house. He hung up.

I dialed back and got an answering machine stating the fundraising sight was unavailable to take my call.  It gave an option to opt out by pressing 3.

Scam artists or someone looking to male sure people aren't at home so they can rob you?
