They said I owed a bank for a personal loan that I had taken out from a quick payday loan which I never did and then told me that I owed over 1000 dollars but qualitfy for payment plan and I could pay that or go to court and pay the 1000 plus court costs and attorny fees and it would go on my credit and if I paid the settlement it would not go on my credit

Continued from first post. This woman also said they did a credit check on me and had my previous employer name   She stated she searched to see if I had any liens  or warrants

I hope you didn't pay them! Any time someone calls you claiming you owe money, demand they follow the law and mail you proof of the debt. Do not pay them without that proof. Phone calls, faxes, emails, and texts are not legal methods of debt validation.

Just got the SAME phone call from Monica. Old info about me. nothing current.

I have been getting the same calls one a day ! I know it’s a scam and I started harassing them they called me a few choice words and now hang up on me. That’s one way to get them to stop calling

Caller id says Ready Virtual, asked for me by name. Had a foreign accent. I asked what it was concerning and he said something about taxes. I replied you are obviously a scam and hung up.

Said the are from EPA and asked to speak to the business owner..  Called my cell.. there is no business owner because it isn't a work phone.. scam too obvious dont pick up.  put on reject list

Called my work saying they were BiteSquad asking for the owner who they called "David". That is not the owner's name and we get a bunch of scammers calling asking for an owner named David. They only wanted to speak to the owner. They proceeded to nervously, but persistently ask awkward nonsense questions about the BiteSquad drivers.

Called 2xs directly after each other asking for the owner and when I said he wasn't here and asked if they would like to leave a message, the answer was "no, not with you".  I laughed the first time then they called back a couple of times and hung up each time I answered.

They called twice directly after each other asking for the owner and when I said she wasn't there and asked if they would like to leave a message, the answer was “no” and that they would “call back” when the owner was back. i asked why they were calling and they were vague and didn’t state directly.
