- chrisI received a call from these people saying that if I or my attorney didn't call them back I would be in big trouble and all they could do was wish me good.....caller sounded of Hindu descent....
- Michelle Scifers| 1 replyHarassing calls in regards to something that has nothing to do with me. I do not have a debt that they speak of and it sounds like a scam.

- JPI got a call from a man with an Indian accent. He told me that my husband owed money on a payday loan that we failed to pay back. Neither one of us has done a payday loan. I hung up on them after being threatened with legal action after I had told them as much. They then called back, and when my answering machine picked they demanded to know if I hung up on and then threatened me some more. I know of no debt collectors who call back after you hang up on them and argue with your machine.

- lb59| 1 replyi received a call from them saying i owed money on a payday loan and when i asked them from when and where and they had called me from another number and claimed to be an attorney and said they were gonna arrest me and gave me a case number where i was being sued etc. I asked them not to call me at work and hung up on them and they called back 3 more times they are all foreign and it sounds like a call center in the background. I called the atty general office and they told me to hang up on them and i do but they keep calling back. i told them if i owed something they needed to send me proof in writing and they knew my bank and bank numbers and my address .Scary in a way

- RoyleeReceived call from man with accent who stated I owed his client money. He has called my cell and is now calling my home. He says I should get an attorney because I would be in big trouble if I don't pay. I told him to stop calling my home or I will file harrassment charges. He stated he knows all my information and knows how to find me. I told him he has to prove these charges in writing.

- luvyaI received a call from a man with an accent who stated that I owed him money from a payday loan. He threatened to take me to court, when I told him fine I want to go to court he cursed me out and hung up on me. He calls me every month with the same story....
- Caramia| 1 replyIf you get calls from these people, it is an extortion scam. I started receiving calls from these scumbags after I applied for a $400 PayDay loan in December (stupid idea) when my car needed major repairs right before Christmas. They speak with very thick Indian accents, and claim they are from "The Dispute Resolution Center" and I am being sued for $7000 from Cash Advance America. they threaten with legal action if I I don't return the call immediatlely, stating they will send the local sherrif to my doorstep with a subpeona. I was only able to get more information by talking over the guy, being very difficult and asking who the client was, what documentation of the original debt was, etc, etc. The first guy couldn't handle me and pretended he didn't hear me, then he hung up on me. He called me back and asked me, "Did you hang up on me Miss?" I started arguing with him and he pretended to transfer the call to his supervisor "John Franklin" by pressing #1234. Check out www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/paydayloanscam-120710 This is scary because they have my address, social security number and bank routing numbers. I have contacted my bank and all three credit bureaus and placed alerts on my files. I have also filed a report with the FBI fraud department. Even after all that nonsense, they still had the balls to call me back and leave 4 more threatening messages over the last few days. I have decided to mess with them and now answer the phone and tell them in my best Alabama accent that my name is Raj Gupta and I demand all of his personal information, including his best credit cards numbers, SSN, address, first born child and a big, juicy rare cow-burger.

- brian s.| 1 replyI get calls from the almost daily. I told them this morning I was contacting the U.S. attorney generals office plus I was filing a lawsuit against them for harassment and fraud, so when they see me in court they better have their own lawyer. Of course its a fraud and will never get paper from them, hence never see them in court. They hung up on me 2 times because I called them twice to make sure they understood me. Haven't heard back lol

- cara replies to brian s.Brian, we should start calling them and telling them we will take them to court for harassment. They are calling my work # now. I told the guy today I have contacted a lawyer (which I have just to make sure) who has told me just to ignore but I wanted him to keep calling because maybe he owed me money. If he has good credit, I would also like his SSN and date of birth. He didn't know what to say to me and hung up on me.
- soldier1156i have also received calls from not just this number, but about three others. the caller had a thick indian accent, and knew my (thank god) old outdated address and bank account number. i pulled out my old bank records and he impatiently (while whistling in my ear, and i reminded him constantly of how unprofessional he was) for me to find my documents...i indulged until he began asking me how old i am and if i am single...i dont take highly to advances as such to begin with, especially from someone who is "trying to take me to the courthouse". he had aslo gave me a bs address for me to go to in brooklyn (i lived in brooklyn for 19 years) and couldnt even give me a correct zip code. the next time he calls he is gunna get "City Morgue, you kill em' we chill em'"

- YvetteI am at work and I was at the copier when I heard the phone rang in my office, when I got back to my desk this gentleman with a heavy hindu accent left a message stating that I need to call him back right a way regarding a pay day loan and he also stated that if I did not call him back then I was going to have a bad day. The phone number that he left was 315-220-0845. I have not called him back because I get so tired of these people calling my job and according to some of the other responses that I have read other people's places of employment also. I would love for him to call me at home so that I can give a piece of my mind. Something needs to be done about this. It is not right for people to be at work and receive threats and scary calls.
- RandyI have received calls from this number as well as many of their other scam numbers. They have called my work and home, but at one point, they reached my supervisors voice mail and left a message. My boss is now concerned and suspicious to say the least and this has affected the quality and potential work future. I have filled complaints with just about every agency possible, but the calls continue. They use multiple numbers to try and trick you, but the pathetic message is always the same. I have answered and ask them to repeat every word and also demand a letter explaining the reason for their call. As pitiful as this group is, they prey on just a few of us to give them information to help finilize their scam. One final note - the more questions you ask (name, street address, email, website, nature of call, etc) the more frustrated they get. I also let them know I have notified the print and electronic media so there message can be distributed on a larger scale. I don't know of any legal recourse as these mental midgets would be difficult to process and convict. Any thoughts or suggestions?

- GaleI have received some many of these calls! They basically say the same thing! The last one i got said to call the immediately and if i didn't by 5pm they would call the local sheriff and have me served at work or at home! These people need to be stopped! I do hear sounds in the back ground like they are telemarketers and they are in a call center! I don't even answer the calls anymore because i believe they are trying to scam people out of money! They all have this heavy accent and can barely speak english and after telling you all that mess about being sued then the last thing he said was have blessed day! Come on now! I will not be bullied into being scammed by these people and they need to just give it up!

- AmandaI have gotten this call now and the guy was cussing and screaming at me and told me he was my father.... lol Yeah right buddy.... I am going to check all my stuff now because he is stating that he has all my information. Ugggggg...... I am also contacting the local police because there is a law about cussing here... Maybe the phone company too and see if they can trace the call.
- Phil in IndianaI got calls from this number, too. If the caller is cussing and threatening you with a lawsuit, and refuse to tell you specific information about the debt (date, creditor, amount), they are trying to scam you. Hang up, then tell your friends, relatives, and employer that if they receive these calls, just hang up. I've had to close out bank accounts and start new ones because of scams like this (just did it again yesterday).
